Cocaine/Methylin (Ritalin) Combo

(I though the forum for this would probably be Other Drugs but I wasn't sure so I just put it here. Sorry Mods, I'm still a BL newbie)

My friend and I were looking for a deck of cards in his step dad's study and he found a bag of coke in the poker set. We decided to do some but didn't want him to find out so we crushed up some of his Ritalin and mixed it in with the bag. The next day we took a little more out and replaced it with Ritalin, but now that means the lines we did were a mix of Ritalin and coke.

Is this bad for you? I've done coke before and railed some of his Ritalin but not at the same time.

What you guys did is REALLY stupid though, think his dads not gonna know when he breaks out a line of yayo? Think hes not gonna notice that it looks different?

This should be in here cause this is DEFINITELY a noobie question.
 
The general rule of thumb as I've always heard it is that you're really not supposed to mix stimulants because it increases the risk of damage to your heart and the possiblity of a heart attack/stroke... so I hope for all your sakes he doesn't have a pre-existing heart condition of any kind.

And I agree with hpi, that was pretty damn stupid, your friend's dad is going to notice immediately when the stuff goes up his nose (does not feel the same at all….)

Plus, fucking with someone’s drug stash… that is just not cool.
 
I've mixed the two together before out of desperation to make the little bit of coke I had left last the night. The only difference is I'd do a few lines of ritalin and then reward myself wih a line of coke. (Oh that taste and smell!) Made for a pretty nice buzz and a good way to keep the night going strong. But mixing them together in the same bag is definitely going to be noticed I imagine. Not so much the look as the taste. But otherwise...Does someone know why it would be harmful to mix these???
 
His dad is going to beat your fucking ass if he decides to dabble with his coke and finds out it fucking sucks ass compared to the last time.

Yeah, it's dangerous to mix stimulants.

Coke alone can be dangerous and mixing the 2 is an increased risk.
 
It's not like we took a whole bunch we just snagged a couple lines and replaced with an equal amount of Ritalin. When we did it the second time neither one of us thought the quality had diminished noticeably or that it tasted any differently. Basically we didn't want the bag to look short and we thought Ritalin would be good because it will also give a stimulant effect.

Neither my friend or I have a heart condition and neither does his step dad. We're not planning on doing it again, I was just wondering if it was bad to do a line that was coke mixed with a little Ritalin. Is it any worse than doing an equal size line of just coke or an equal size line of just Ritalin?

As far as not fucking with someone's drug stash, we considered it payback for the zip of weed he "confiscated" from us and then proceeded to use himself.
 
So? You're kids and he takes care of you financially (at least houses you). Don't do drugs in your parents house if you don't want them to get taken away, it's simple.

You stole someone's drugs, no matter how you put it, which is not OK to me... and then to try and mix it up with a bunch of other shit so that he won't know is just fucked up. I've never done that in all my years of desperation. If you want to do coke, that's fine--- go buy your OWN.

It's so weird to me that people steal their parents drugs....My mom would beaten my ass if I ever took any of her prescrips, and watering down my dad's alcohol would have led to me having a curfew of about 5 PM for the rest of my days. Both would have given to me if I'd asked, but stealing... noooo. :|
 
Ok, I'll admit stealing drugs is wrong. My question still stands. Is a line of coke/Ritalin worse than a line of coke or a line of Ritalin?
 
Kid, READ the responses in the damn thread. I think that question has been anwsered by about four people. YES, it is.
 
who gives a shit if its harmful. if your doing coke you might as well mix it up. i just got a 3 grams of methadrone. its like the combo of coke and ectasy. i speed 3x better than coke and everything feels wonderful like on xtc. all you wana do is run up and down the hall way and rub your hands on the fucking walls, but your pupils dilate to noticebly and no way in hell you can concentrate. i want to know if me, a highly atlethic work out more than 8 times a week adult with no heart conditions and prob near perfect heart and at age 18 could mix 120 miligrams of methlyin [generic name: methylphendiate] with a couple to about 3/4 of a gram of Methadrone? will it kill me. could i concentrate. Those are my ? any other input is ill-relvant and will otherwise be ignored. 8o
 
Fuck hell go easy on the guy. It was wrong, but we all do studid things when young. One of my friends parent regularly steals thier green! Not saying it's not bad and thus stealing. Just not a capital offence. The amount of drugs my parents confiscated of me when I lived with them makes me weep. But that's a tad diffrent .

Anyway. You are probably right, mixing them is dangerous. Can anyone give me more info on the mechanism that would make it bad. Surely they have reasonably similar mechanysms of action, wouldn't it just be like taking more of one?
 
Really stupid, cocaïne is REALLY enough don't need to add an other stimulant. If you want to add a opiates it is an other problem, but take care very dangerous for a novice...

As a pharm student I do not want to get into ethical issues posed in this thread. However, I will recommend that you either get rid of the stash of contaminated cocaine or at least inform any individual that may be using the cocaine of what exactly was mixed into the drug. It does not matter what type of drug you mix with another drug it will still change the physiological effect on the human body. This could be dangerous depending on the health history of an individual/or it could have no effect. The lesson here is that when dealing with any drugs illegal or not the person consuming the drug needs to know what exactly the chemical consistency.:)
