Cocaine Cocaine for lower back pain?

I have a very sharp pain in my lower back that shoots into my right leg that i presume was from heavy lifting at my job. I need to work again today but I find the pain unbearable. I took ibuprofen an hour ago and that did nothing. I have a heat pad on the spot and that relieves some pain. I have a bit of cocaine though, I know that wouldn't SOLVE the problem per say, but will it be useful to numb the pain for while i'm at work? I've never used cocaine for pain...just to get high, so i have no idea. Thanks.

It might make you forget a out the pain for a little while because you will be thinking about doing more cocaine. I don't really think it would work very well.

i have a heroin addiction...not sure if any doctor would be willing to prescribe me any opiates. plus in jersey, doctors aren't afraid to tell you to fuck off.

I would use heroin then. Not really harm reduction but if you already have a habit why not.

If you're still using and it's not helping the pain then you need to go and get some tests done. As you may have something more serious wrong.

I don't think cocaine is pain killer at all. Sure when you're high you don't care about pain so much because of euphoria but its very ineffective in this way.

Cocaine is a local anesthetic, not at all suitable for your pain.

See a doctor about the lower back pain. It sounds like you have nerve pain.

i ended up calling out. the heating pad has been on all day and seems to help. did the coke either way though -.- and dope all day. fuck, i really need to call that sub doctor.

If the sharp pain goes down the middle of your buttock into your leg you may have a sciatic nerve problem. If you talk to your doc they can give you a drug like Tegretol or Gabapentin (aka Lyrica) which can help control the nerve pain. I have chronic nerve pain and I found Lyrica works really well and you get intense dreams when you begin dosing.. If it is a nerve issue coke is the worst thing you can take, it will aggrevate the nerve pain

i assumed it was sciatic. but with the coke...didn't really make it worse. just got high and forgot about it for a little. make it isn't sciatic then...

In the past I've noticed back pain while coming down or off of cocaine while addicted to it. It would feel better after using.. Withdrawal symptom maybe?

Gabapentin = Neurontin
Pregabalin = Lyrica
