coCaine extraction

I am not a chemist and I'm trying to figure out the cocaine extraction process and no post goes into enough detail. I understand the base extraction method but was wondering how you separate the kerosene/cocaine mix from the water and leaf. Does the kerosene move to the top of the solution And then skim it off with a cup or what? Also making the base into hcl with ether is also rather confusing. Could someone explain in detail the process in a way that is easily understood?

I don't think were allowed to discuss this - synthesis talk is often frowned upon.

Just have a quick search of Solvent Extraction of Cocaine - basically what you said is correct, give or take a cup and a skim or two :D
 
okay thanks a lot! also thanks for letting me know this is frowned upon politely unlike most people on this forum. This is the most anal forum I have ever been on and idk why, you would think such a small online community like this would be way more easy going and supportive. But thanks Bearlove!
 
If you read the Bluelight User Agreement, you would understand that we are a harm reduction forum. It's not that we're being anal, we could easily be shut down for promoting illegal activities.
