I just bought some Mcdonald?€™s cheeseburgers and fries after a long stressful week at work and I took this bag of crappy food to an otherwise comfortable crack house to share with all my new friends I made while doing coke. Of course, I walk in, expecting to be the hero that feed the crack heads, as I hand out free burgers to people, new faces lurk at me in destruction, ?€œAS IF?€ I had the gull to do what I just did. Appreciation was not had by many. Oh well, I thought Joe is the hook up and he seems to be happy. ?€œLets go for a ride Joe?€, I tell him after seeing my friends and new faces of hell.

Off we go, ?€œdown this street?€, he gave directions perfectly and we never drove the same way twice. ?€œSo, how much you want this time man??€, Joe asks as we near the house. ?€œOh, how about twice as much as before?€ I ask politely. ?€œSure?€ he says with a smile, ?€œI will even knock off $20 for doing so?€. I hand him my cash with sweaty palms and a twitchy smile and say ?€œThanks?€. The deal is done before I can remember listening to the rest of the song on the radio,

Alright. Joe jumps in and says drive. He hands me the two bags in doing so. God these rocks of powder make me feel so fucking free in my possession. Steady now. Back to the spot where we would stay all night, we finally arrive.

The new faces have left already. It?€™s just the three of us now, the three amigos who could destroy and build the world in one day. Chop, chop chop I get on the powder to ready my nose for testing the new batch this weekend. ?€œGive me some?€ I hear them say. Chop chop, ?€œOk?€, I say happy to have quality coke and a place to do it, I readily hand out the mounds of cocaine to Joe, who never cared to snort, bump or shoot it. He had just the right technique to cook it within minutes and then I would just stare as I watched the glass pipe being passed around. ?€œOK, sure?€ I said, ?€œI will try smoking it this time?€. That was ok I thought as I continued to cut more mounds for snorting.

After hours of indulging in this ridiculous act in attempt to better my life, I am handed the pipe again. I immediately go to hit it, not realizing that it is still hot and backwards. I hear a sizzle before I light the rock. I smell my flesh burning before I realize that it is my lip that I smell. Fuck that hurt!!!, run outside to the car to grab some chapstick that I had lying around. Get back inside, the sun is rising and the cocaine is almost gone. We finish it off and I start smoking some weed. I hear my friends talk about how horrible it is that I am also smoking weed as we are doing coke. They thought I was mad. We were all mad. Crazy that is. High on cocaine.

We do this for months. Joe got sent to jail for possession and the same day I found out about it, he was already back at the spot. Sitting there, with his pupils larger than life itself. We do the same routine and not much is said about jail. My mind wonders into the realms of using a syringe next time. My mind is a prison that can only see rocks, powder, water, baking soda, pipes and needles. Carpet sharking is something that makes sense now. How do I break free?

There are other ways to get dopamine naturally. While cocaine gives you an unnatural amount of dopamine nearly instantly other ways to elevate would be eating healthy food which you consider delightful and tasty, and exercising progressively harder. All I, or anyone, will say is that you will be surprised at how good you can feel for free.

I caution you about the "fact" you cant "get it back." - Have fun.

I would like to add that this happened years ago. I am a recovering cocaine addict, who hasn’t used in years as well.

The two other people in the story mentioned are not to be known/displayed at this time. One has died from an overdose and the other’s location and real name is not known.

Also, I would like to add that there is little to no ‘fun’ in destroying your life. Life goes by too fast most times. I feel sorry for the many people who have to/ have had to suffer through such a strenuous struggle; raw addiction.
