cocaine and q-tips?

how safe is it to wet a q-tip with water and gently swab the inside of your nose (GENTLY) after coke?

There would be no danger at all. If you're worrying about burning your nose or something, well, the shit's up there already. It can't do any more damage...
Why would you want to do this anyway???
I've found that the best way to clean up the nostrils a little is to sniff a drop of water from a straw, or whatever.

my thought was that in much the same way as you put a piece of cotton in the spoon to rid the impurities when shooting up, using a q-tip (which is cotton based) might remove some of the impurities from the water that you are putting up your nose.
i don't mean sticking the q-tip in and snorting the water off the q-tip -- that could cause cotton strands to go up there. just a little swab to get the coke that is all crusted up off the insides of my nasal passages.

im a big fan of nasal swabbing. The best method is to snort (or better, put in spray bottle) a mixture of water, salt, and baking soda. It cleans out and drys up all that stuff in there without drying it too much. You can swab some vaseline in there as well just to put some oils back in.
people think i am crazy but it works very well.
