So here's my question…
I've been shooting coke on and off for the past year or so. Recreationally, here and there. Though there were more periods of 'here's' probably.
Anyway, I probably most accurately assume that it's nothing like heroin. There is no addiction here. Not physical. Not even really psychological. For me. The only reason I continue to do so is just the thought, "Oh, there's a Rite Aide. We could get syringes for 3.99. We could do that tonight…or go see a movie." It's just become too normal in my options of recreation.
Last semester, I would go to class and be completely okay. I graduated. Two years early. And I wrote a screenplay finished and ready to go.
And I'm not saying that I have it all together. And that my moods don't shift from desperation to euphoria and back in a way that I can control, but…
But I do it more than not. But the nature of the drug prevents a psychological addiction, really. So…
I guess I really don't know what my question is…but I guess…
Does anyone know what this is like? I mean specifically with cocaine. And specifically with IV applications.
Because it's just strange to me. I've had some complications, but nothing to get it in my head that this is not just "going to the movies" or something, you know?
*shrug*
I don't know, if someone mentions heroin, there's an automatic image of a needle and a vein. Skinny junkies and things unsalvagable. Things different, things bad. And I'm not about the image, at all, but ARE there IV coke users out there? I mean, consistant…or regular. I always just thought that there were, but there's such a large 'snorting' subculture that now I'm questioning if there are.
