Im reading online about teas that get you high and came across coca leaves, so do they really get you high? and just for the hell of it, has anyone experienced a good tolerant high with any herbal teas? ;)

I'm pretty sure the cocaine content is way too low for someone to experience something, especially if you're tolerant to cocaine

I don't know if you are tolerant to cocaine or not. If the answer is yes i don't think you will get much out of coca leaves. Anyway, i will tell you my experience with it even if it's not strictly with tea. I'll also add lots of details you will not give a fuck about :) .

Many months ago, astonished by the results i had with poppy pods, i decided to try coca leaves too. I ordered 500g of pulverized leaves from Perù, and they incredibly arrived. I ordered 250g+250g, but the guy send me a single 500g pack. This is important because the alkaloids in the leaves are said to oxidize very quickly once exposed to air, so i wanted to keep a pack for experimenting with tea and one to experiment with an alcoholic solution in different times, but i got a single pack that also arrived broken, so i had to decide what to do rapidly, and i mixed the 500 grams with a liter or more of 90% ethanol.

I let it sit shaking it twice a day for like a little more than a week and recovered a black solution, and i don't remember right now all the counts i made and probably i'm telling you something wrong about quantities (i lost all my notes), but given the average amount of cocaine alone in the leaves (0,5 - 1 percent) i came up with the conclusion that 15 mls of that solution contained potentially 100 milligrams of cocaine, and i took it as a singe dose, accounting for losses and low BA.

I picked ethanol as a solvent because:
1) ethanol is supposed to boost the absorption of cocaine when taken orally.
2) i deliberately wanted to create cocaethylene.
Sorry if i don't link anything to explain my choices but i researched all this stuff really a long time ago, i read a lot of stuff and i don't remember what or where right now.

Anyway, it worked to some extent. I mean, i could feel cocaine-like effect after i drank the disgusting stuff, effects that lasted a good 1,5-2 h to subside quite rapidly leaving a little bit of a comedown, and that where not given by ethanol alone. I would compare it to a small bump (but i'm not so sure, i have almost only injected cocaine in powder form). It has been fun and lasted a while, but it's not something that can replace cocaine at all, especially with all that fucking ethanol! If you also add that coca leaves are in theory as illegal as extracted cocaine...

I am still curious about the tea. Some say that water is not a good solvent for the form cocaine is found in the leaves and that in general oral bioavailability is too low to mess with, still i would be curious to try a strong brew and see how it feels. Or try chewing with backing soda...some people like it!

Coca leaves contain only up to 1% of Cocaine so I think unless you need something that's good for altitude sickness (as the locals do over there) you might be better off buying street Cocaine and use the method somewhere on this board to purify your Coke (I TBH would use this method since of the variety of cuts of which some are very bad for your health).

Coca is what cocaine is extracted from. Therefore, drinking coca tea is a form of oral administration of cocaine, (albeit an "inefficient" one). And yes it does have noticeable effects, although I would say they are smoother, milder, mellower and less anxiety-inducing than powder cocaine and without the harsh comedown of powder coke, although I've never tried pure cocaine orally for comparison. Surely there must be some other active alkaloids in coca leaves aside from cocaine (anyone know?) as I have definitely experienced stimulation and euphoria from drinking coca tea, and if it really has such a small amount of cocaine in it one would assume the effects wouldn't be that noticeable. (Note: YMMV - everyone is different and I was using excellent quality leaves verified by long-time coca drinkers, not random leaves I bought online).

Although coca tea is much milder than, say, snorting some coke, if someone dislikes the effects of coke, normally gets a bad reaction to coke, or has been addicted to coke they should proceed with caution with coca tea. I have had friends who disliked the effects of cocaine and found they disliked the effects of coca tea as well.

Some problems with coca tea:

The main problem is that, being a plant, different batches can vary greatly in their alkaloid content, and some stuff sold as "coca tea" is not actually even coca at all, or is coca but is "decocainized", meaning the cocaine has been removed. This is also relevant for harm reduction and dosing concerns because unless you are making tea that's all from one batch of leaves and have tried it before, you can't predict how it's going to affect you or what dose would be good, so always start low. And different people are probably going to have different effects even from the same exact tea (like with all drugs of course).

If you have a tolerance to cocaine you might not feel much from coca tea, I'm not sure, I've only used coca tea when I had no tolerance to cocaine at the time.

If someone does not want to consume any cocaine they should not drink coca tea, even though the amount of cocaine in it is likely small.

And just because it's a plant doesn't mean that you can't use too much, so be smart about it and don't think you need to drink an insane amount just because someone says the leaves are only 1% cocaine (actual alkaloid content varies as I mentioned above and there are likely other active alkaloids in it too).

So these are all things to keep in mind when considering whether or not to try coca tea.

^ pure coke orally is a pretty intense way to ingest.. a slightly slower onset but it hits hard and long, bad side is there is no turning back, huh, imagine that.. is there ever... and it can play havoc with acid reflux as well as other things and that is just with FScale, so I have no idea what the junk cut may do or prolonged use, but never swallow the same amount as you would snort.. the absorption must be significantly higher with swallowing, as in less than.. about mabey 3.5 to 5 minutes you START to get LIIIIITTTTT.. and it continues from there, fast without reuping.. your in charge.
