Coca Leaf - Novice - Outstanding and Clean!

However, I have pondered the other idea. As for the Bluelighters that are up on your chemistry knowledge, will soaking the leaves in Alcohol still convert Cocaine into Cocaethylene even though the Cocaine isn't in its hydrochloride form?

Also, is Cocaine soluble in Ethanol? I'm curious if you could make a potent extraction with some grain Alcohol.

I would love to experiment with the leaves in this way, but even still, my preferred method would be to chew the leaves. I love the taste, and now I associate the taste/numbing with the effect.

Cocaethylene is supposedly produced by transesterification, catalyzed by carboxylesterases in the liver. But I have yet to see any studies that actually show this process, though I certainly do not dispute it. Either way, simply exposing cocaine to alcohol will not produce this ethyl ester.

Oh to clarify, my suggestion's intent was not to produce cocaethylene on-spot. I would not have suggested wine if I did

I suggested it purely for novelty reasons.

I so knew when I saw Jamshyd was the last poster in this thread, he was gonna say something bout plugging the tea.. Hehehe. I just knew!! ;-) Wouldn't it be possibly bad though.. If some people kill their mucus membrane in their nose with coke use, wouldn't it be just as bad in ya bowels...

Haha, glad to have the pleasure, I guess? :D

It would be bad, I guess, if you've taken up regularly plugging irritants like alcohol or somesuch. But with things like cocaine, there will always be sufficient water content in the rectum to dilute it (especially if its a tea that you're working with), unlike the nose which is only slightly moist at best.

Err.. I guess unless you snort tea.
