Coachella 2012 - April 13-15 & April 20-22

Just awful... But I almost see the piss poor line-up as a blessing since the prices are fucking ridiculous and the Goldenvoice people are such hipster dickwads.

I grieve only over the Shins and, to a lesser extent, Amon Tobin. I've seen almost all of the EDM artists they have lined up and the indie artists are always touring around socal and have cheap shows.

But whatevaaaa fuck dem hoes I'm going to Vegas for my 21st bday during the 2nd weekend and then...Lightning in a Bottle ^__^ (you guys should hit that up if you are a crunchy like me).
 
Shit, I'd go just for Radiohead, fucking Godspeed You! Black Emperor and DJ Shadow. That combined with being in California for the first time I think would be pretty fucking awesome
There are also some other really cool bands I'd like to see and a few I've already seen like Modest Mouse, Cat Power, Arctic Monkeys and Mazzy Star just to name a few.

Kind of shitty you won't be in attendance this year Bombo, I was looking forward to meeting all you Cali cats if I actually can finally make it out there.

budget roach motels are 300 plus a night of coachella as of now
i went 2 years of ago when deadmau5 was ther and camped - great time BUT outta hand when it came to showering period -so fuck that and then besides that edc is here where i live and i dont have to pay for a hotel so effem :)

and showering at ANY festival is a hassle, unless its on a river.

This goes for any festival - If youre able to car camp, I always suggest to bring a large jug of water and a bucket to take a bootleg shower. Wash your hair if you really need to, use a washcloth for everything else. Just remember organic soap and lots of deoderant. Youre camping, people know this, you dont need to smell like roses, no one else will.
 
word you have a point but at like 90-100 degree weather you are roasting by like 9:30 am and with getting to sleep at like 6am normally ish at least for me it was with the onsite party in the car camping area shit was legit :) lol -- umm ya i totally looked forward to a full on HOT shower so ya i gotta have that!
 
Meh, I guess I'll be in attendance this year. There are definitely some artists that I'm looking forward to seeing but Goldenvoice could have undoubtedly done better.
