Looks like they're bringing the Dome back for Pure Filths stage this year. While I think it's awesome they're bringing the dome back, I think its awful that they're going to be placing it in the entrance, furthest away from the Sahara, Do Lab, and rest of the stages.
I understand that by putting it back in the general area of the rest of the stages over-crowding and sound bleed COULD be an issue, but you'd think with all the extra land they supposedly have they'd be able to take care of that issue, no? Getting from the Sahara to the Dome takes ta least 5-10 minutes, which can take up to 15 when fighting crowds, and 20-30 when intoxicated or in heat. I think it was an absolute mistake on their part, and I hope they realize it.
Also, do they not realize the size of the crowd for Odd Future? Jesus, that dome is going to be twice as packed as it was for FlyLo back in 09!!!!
I guarantee that the only time that that dome will actually have a crowd is during Odd Future, nnot because the artists dont deserve the crowd, they most certainly do, but because its just so far away from everything else that it's a total pain to get to. Back in '09 the only time there was an actual crowd there (not during afterhours) was when FlyLo closed it out that Saturday, and thats only because he played later than all the other stages. I just dont understand the logic here, or lack there of!
And what were they thinking, no afterhours sessions!?!?!
I must say, ive been extremely disappointed here, GV and Sam XL.
