Harm Reduction Clozapine and Dextromethorphan

I've googled this and some sites suggested that combining the two can results in serotonin syndrome. But I don't get it. Clozapine is an antipsychotic that does not act on serotonin on in the brain. I'm not mixing it with SSRIs like sertraline. What is the potential downfall of robbo tripping whilst medicated on clozapine?
 
I don't think that clozapine + DXM will give you much danger of serotonin syndrome but DXM alone is a pretty harsh drug on the body and I'd be wary of it if you need to be on clozapine for a psychotic disorder.
 
Clozapine is a pretty rough goddamn drug on the heart and everything. Personally i would recommend against mixing the 2. Also clozapine has some effects other anti psychotics dont so better to be safe then sorry in my opinion.
