clowns

Ever since I seen the movie IT I've thought them to be freaky... plus I never found any of their antics funny as a child.

You are not alone Muzby !!! They have scared the shit out of me as far as I can remember....my brother also. We think clown phobia all began when we went to watched 'The Last Action Hero' with Arnie Shwarzenegger.... than clown was pure fucking evil. I think Krusty has scared a whole generation too probably in a way. :X

Clowns are friendly...

hahaha
i myself have no fear of clowns now, altho the spinning head ones with the open mouths dandy described used to freak me out a bit as a kid

wasnt kramer afraid of clowns on seinfeld as well? rofl

^^^ Hahaha yeah eze. I think he was afraid of circus clowns or something, or midgets, something like that.

I actually have an intense fear of jockeys. Imagine being surrounded by a group of them in a room, you would stand out so blatantly, they would be equipped with their whips, colourful clothing... i'm going to have nightmares...

Clowns don't scare me, though I'm not particulary fond of them either...

What does freak me out is this mime guy I saw in Sydney once coated in silver body paint just standing there pretending to be a statue...

^^ You serious? Those "statue" people are very scary, honest!
A couple times I have walked past the occasional one when they were posing only to be freaked out when I caught a movement out of the corner of my eye.

=Raises hand=

Clowns scare me too...

What is it about a culture where something that is meant to bring joy and happiness is viewed by most as scary and down right frightening!? :\

hahaha. Glad I'm not afraid of jockeys coz i work at the races.

Recently I saw a heavily make-up'd female that looked exactly like one of those open mouthed, rotating clown heads from the show. When carnies are outdated (if ever), those things will be useless. I predict a mass uprising of the rejected clowns (like Super Ted). They are scary.

Normal clowns are fine by me I guess.

Clows are evil i agree

I once got a troll doll for my 9th birthday which was a clown. That thing just brought so much bad luck. My loath for clowns built up then. Since childhood i never found circus clowns funny one bit. There was somthing about tubby men in make-up riding uni-cycles that didn't appeal to me

Exception: The clowns at the Children's holspitals are doing ALOT of good work to keep a smile on the faces of the sick kiddies, along with the staff and volunteers who work there

all i can think is CAN'T SLEEP, SHAL'S CLOWN WILL EAT ME!!!

Bwahaha - Becareful of what goes bump in the night! :D

OMFG, Stephen King's IT scared me for life, and i will not ever, ever approach a clown for fear that it will rip my arm off.....for a while there i wouldn't go near a storm drain in the streets either *for those that have also been scarred by IT will know what im talking about* and i would never have a shower or go near the sink unless the plug was in.......(because at the age of 8 i seriously thought that if i put a 3cm plastic plug over the drain hole, the clown wouldnt be able to come up through the drain and get me... hmmmmm....)

anyway no clowns for me *scared*

"we all float down here georgie......"

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a clown at a circus dosent scare me, a clown that lives in a drain or under my bed does....

:D
