Here's a VERY close call. I had just picked up a 100mg Morphine pill before work off a friend, and I decided I wanted to go into work a little messed up. I sniffed half and was feeling good, but when I got to work I ended up finnishing the whole thing within an hour. All of it up my nose. At the time I think I may have a had a slight tolerance to opiates, but not 100mgs of morphine, that was too fuckin much for me, I've never nodded out so hard.
Well, my boss tells me I can punch out and leave, so I do, but I get in my car and start driving and right away I knew it was a bad idea. This was honestly the dumbest thing I think I've ever done, as I was breaking EVERY traffic rule. I was going about 20mph under, swerving in and out of lanes, etc. Well, I end up right around the corner from the cities police station and I end up drifitng into the next lane, and as I did that my car grinded against this SUV and the chick driving it started flipping out and signaled to pull to the side. There was NOTHING more than scratches but she insisted we file a report since the police station was right there.
Here's the good part. I walk in and we explain what happen. There's 3 cops all sitting there at the front desk; they have the lady start to fill out paperwork while they talk to me. My pupils are pin-points, my voice is raspy as fuck, and yet, they don't even ask me anything regarding drugs. I told them I was tired and they said "oh so you shouldnt be on the road?"
Haha, I walked outta there with a $155 ticket for causing an accident, and not even 5 minutes after leaving I caused another one. This time though, I said FUCK THAT I'm not going back there and sped off.
Really fuckin bad on my part, and it still amazes me I got off that easy.
