Clonidine with shrooms/similar psychedelics

Benzos work great for counteracting anxiety and bad trips on shrooms, but what other substances work for this. In the past I thought trazodone might be good for that, but I heard someone say they had a seizure with that combo. Has anyone here tried clonidine with shrooms? It has no SSRI properties so serotonin syndrome wouldn't be an issue like trazodone or mirtazapine.

clonidine counteracts the adrenal response.. but adrenals only promote whatever emotional response a person is having.. good or bad.. i would suggest that a tripper be in a good place in their head and life tripping.

Benzos with psychedelics besides weed? That's new to me.

I prefer stronger psychedelics with a few drinks and/or weed. Alone isn't bad either.

Cuhpcakes: Benzos go really well with serotonergic psychedelics. They take away the nausea and physical discomfort that one sometimes feels.

Trazodone will straight up stop the trip, not quite as well as antipsychotics, but it'll stop it.

Clonidine is decent with shrooms, but IMO Propranolol (and any similar beta blocker) is better, does more to reduce the nausea and body load. Clonidine is better for amphetamines, you run the risk of adrenergic storm if you mix large doses of amphetamines and beta blockers.

Benzos generally tone the entire trip down a good bit. I wouldn't really recommend them proactively, they are better if you are starting to have a bad trip but don't want to bail out with antipsychotics yet.

Lurasidone is one of the most tolerable antipsychotics, most people won't notice any side effects from a dose here and there. Best trip stopper, IMO. You'll be sober inside 20 minutes.
