Clonidine HCI - high blood pressure issue

Just started my script for Clonidine HCI today or yesterday im on 0.1. And i feel like crap when i took it one hour latter i felt like i was tweaked out bad blood pressure was high and heart rate was 112. So still awake took clonazepam and zanzx. still awake is this how im gonna feel every day? Newbie long time lurker. Thanks for any help on this. Hi Everyone

Clonidine makes me feel like i have low BP only a few hours after i take it. a 0.1mg pill is enough to make me have to sleep for atleast abit. I found eating alot of salt to help this abit. It helps abit for withdrawal when used with other meds but it's far from the holy grail or anything.

You do build a tolerance to cloinidine if taken regularly but i am not too sure if the tiredness will completely go away as clonidine does lower your epinephrine and norepinephrine levels. You do become dependent on it if you take it long enough. Going off it too quick can cause severe rebound high blood pressure which can be fatal. So if your going to be taking it for a long time you have to taper off it.

wondering if i should try it again but i don't want that tweaking feeling again. Scared me, but need sleep and help with detox.
