If you're an opiate user like me (oxycodone), I suggest that if at any time you get the chance to score some Clonidine, you should get it and keep it for the times that you may be sick.

You have to be careful with Clonidine, because if you have other disorders that effect your blood pressure, this could lower it too much and could be fatal or land you in the hospital. So know your drugs.

But for "normal" people with just an opiate addiction, it can be a life saver.

After a 12-24 hour come off, take about 1mg of this shit and it will help you with the following:

1) Chills and/or sweating.
2) Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), pretty much stops it cold.
3) Opiate craving. It pretty much takes your mind off wanting opiates.

Although it won't really help with physical pain, if you suffer from that, if you take enough it can be highly sedating and is often used to treat insomnia. So you can expect to get some good sleep on it.

So I've definitely added Clonidine to my arsenal, along with Imodium to help with the stomach cramps and pain, this is a tool for any opiate user.

I would love to have something kill the RLS I get from opiate w/d. Everyone I know in real life thinks that RLS is made up, or that I am making it seem worse than it is. For me RLS is THE worst thing about w/d. I look like an idiot at work...constantly stretching, squirming around and whatnot. I haven't tried to use Clonidine before for it but thanks for the suggestion.

Since this isn't really asking any questions or generating any discussion, I'm going to close this. Overall (especially in OD), clonidine's use in detox/mitigating opioid w/d symptoms is well known as evinced by the search engine showing over 500 posts that mention it.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me :)
