I have experienced Xanax withdrawal once, and that was only after about 2 weeks of .05mg to 1mg nightly doses. I got extreme rebound anxiety and could not imagine what horror it would be to go through a real long-term habit's withdrawal. I have vowed never to get addicted to them since that day.
Good luck to you jaideep. It sounds horrible man, especially when the duration of your suffering is taken into account.
The homeopathic medication will not do jack all besides placebo, if you are lucky. Pretty much worthless and a scam.
Like the other posters have said, look for herbal remedies that may have some low level GABA action, like Valerian Root, Chamomile Tea, etc. Maybe you could try some stronger, but more addictive stuff...obviously this is just to lessen your suffering and I am not a medical professional by any means. I am just putting some ideas out there to help you with the bigger picture of getting off these pills. Have you looked into something like Kava Kava or Phenibut? Phenibut is a stronger GABA-A agonist, it may provide relief, it probably won't though, as benzos are strong meds.
Have you looked into maybe attempting to mask the symptoms (besides bloody SSRI and other anti-depressants, they would make this situation worse IMO). I am talking more about the likes of maybe Marijuana, Kratom. Maybe a little bit of Alcohol for GABA stimulation and to take the edge off?
I feel ya man and good luck. Also, is the way that you are typing a result of the pain you are in and the effort it takes to type things up through withdrawal proving too hard?
