Benzos Clonazepam Question

I have a urine test coming up NEXT Tuesday (so exactly ONE week from today) (and they will be testing for Benzos, Opioids, Steroids, and Methadone)

Anyhow, I was wondering if I could get away with taking 4mg of clonazepam (I havent used any benzos in two years, only an occasional user) and could get away with it not being detected in my urine.

Will I be risking it? Will it come up positive?

Or is it for sure going to comeback negative

(I know I could take lorazepam and get away with it, but lorazepam is much shorter acting than clonazepam, hence the curiosity)

Answers would be greatly appreciated!

the problem is its hard to understand all that scientific mumbo jumbo

lol, I just want people with first hand experience to let me know... (certain sites say itll metabolize into a benzo thats not oxazepam, so clonazepam is hard to be detected)

certain sites say 10 days, some say 7..

I wont take them if I'll be risking it on the urine test. But I will pop a couple if theres no way theyll detect the clonazepam / clonazepam metabolites 7 days from now

one week @ 18-50 hr half life = 2.1 to 5.25 half-lifes (lives?) **** EDIT these numbers are wrong, and the hell if I'm going to fix it

soooooo using a calculator (1/2^n) that means that at the time of your test you will have:

1/2^2.1 = 0.23 x 4 mg = 0.9 mg
1/2^5.25 = 0.026 x 4 mg = 0.1 mg

between 0.1 mg and 0.9 mg floating around in your system of ~5.3 L of blood (0.02 - 0.17 mg/L (ug/mL) in your blood... or 20 - 170 ng/ml in your blood. The detection limit for benzo's in urine is 100 ng/ml (usually the test they use is only good to 200 ng/ml), and your urine should have a lower concentration then your blood soooooooooo....

you're probably fine... you might be fine... how good is your liver? and dont drink any grapefruit juice

lol well i figured you guys, people experimenting with benzos/opioids, and some who are addicted, would have some first hand experience..

For instance.. I know its bullshit when someone says they did cocaine 4 days ago, and passed an Methadone Maintainence urine test.. Unless they did some sortve crazy liver detox.

And I dont know how good my liver is. I drink quite a bit and havent done the enzyme count, or liver tests.

Will I be winging it?

Fuck I dont wanna lose my carries, but I'm in some substantial methadone withdrawal here

If I take less than 4 milligrams (lets say 2 - 2.5 mgs), is there less of a chance itll be detected in my urine 7 days from now?

well, drinking increases your liver enzymes so you are actually more likely to pass... unless you've totally pickled it with booze... Does the colour of your skin ever remind you of The Simpsons?

And the cocaine thing isn't bullshit - I'm not gonna look it up, but I think a single night of coke snorkin is undetectable in less than 48hrs; much shorter and more predictable half-life.

In all seriousness, I would put your chances at passing the test at around 85%, provided you stay away from grapefruit juice and such... then again, benzo's are very unpredictable because of all their protein binding chemistry, so really all anyone can offer you is a guess.

If you choose to take it, let us know how the test goes.

Why dont you just take 2 mg? certainly increase the chances of you passing

yeah, im with doc on this one. if you do end up taking it just remember to follow through with the usual passing techniques, such as drinking plenty of water taking b vitamins and so on.

I would actually bet that you'd pass if you only took 2 mg. That should put you below the min detectable qty using the best test available, if you have the shittiest liver on the planet.

Even then, benzo pharm kinetics are so weird its impossible to say for sure. That's why the range is so wide (18-50hrs).

Naw im not yellow with jaundice lol, im only 23.. just been drinkin a few times a week for a few years (sometimes i wake up a bit pale), but no not yellow.. so yeah my liver should be working ok.. I never drink grapefruit juice, so that wont be a problem

Ok, I just dosed 2 milligrams and gave the rest of my pills to a friend so I dont take more when I start to feel the effects.. I havent dosed any benzo in 1 - 2 years.. Will 2 milligrams give me a nice relaxing effect? Combined with some cannabis?

There is no 'most definitely' with this question, but the chances are good that you'd pass. I don't know what you have to lose though, so I cant say whether or not I'd risk it myself... why dont you just go to a methadone doc and get scripted some kloners for your WD? That way you're legally entitled to fail. A small benzo script is usually a common part of a 'quick kick kit'.

My methadone doctor is a REAL character (odd duck)

He's quick to prescribe Dexedrine and Adderall to people on methadone with ADHD, but he'll NEVER hand out a script for benzos unless you are already on them or are acquiring them through another doctor and are physically dependant

Whats funny is - I find opioids/cocaine/amphetamines to be my real drug of choice. Alcohol is OKAY if I feel good. Benzos, I never use unless its for medicinal purposes really..

Lol but nope, no doc will give me a script for the one thing I dont really like, but will hand me a script for amphetamines which i love

Maybe I have somewhat of a natural benzo tolerance?

The first time I ever took a benzo, I took one 2 milligram tablet of Clonazepam, and I didnt get knocked out.. I didnt feel anything until I smoked a joint.. Then, I was really high

A google search on the elimination of clonazepam isnt great.

But so far in this thread, I havent seen any varying responses.. Both people were agreeing with each other

Anyways, i dosed 2 milligrams, and ill let you know in a week or two if I passed..

tomorrow I'm going to start flushing my system and taking B vitamins.

Would a milk thistle / dandelion flower tincture help the liver flush the benzos out of my body?
