Benzos Clonazepam and Lunesta

I'm prescribed a small quantity of 2mg clonazepam. I'm also prescribed 30 1mg lunesta. I was wondering if there's any recreational value in mixing the two. At 5pm I took 3mg clonazepam and took an hour nap 3 hours later and woke up and didn't feel the desired effects anymore so I took another 3mg at 9pm. It is now 10pm. I was wondering if mixing it with a low dose lunesta of maybe 1mg or 2mg would add any recreational value or just make me fall asleep again. And how much longer should I wait before I take the lunesta since clonazepam can take 1 to 4 hours to reach peak levels.

Um usually a clonazepam would do nothing for me. Nothing.

But the lunesta should help with the synergy and will eventually take effect.

But be extremely careful when mixing.


I cannot really help you out with the clonazepam being that I am only a hard core xanax user.

I notice in order to reach a similar a feeling similar to Xanax I'd have to take 3mg or even 4mg clonazepam to feel like I took 2.5mg Xanax.

Absolutely. It is a weak sedative effect. Not even like the mild 2.5mg xanax effect. Or just barely, yes. I have this debate quite a lot.

But I hope the lunesta will give it the help and synergy it does need to a point.

And the drug interactions to watch out for would be respiratory depression which I'm definitely being cautious about so that's why I'm only going to take a low dose to moderate dose of lunesta.

I hope I don't get hangover effects but since both lunesta and klonopin have long half lives I might wake up with a slight buzz.

Ad yes Xanax is fast acting. I do it sublingual. And the 2.5 hits immediately.

I also do need my klonopin for anxiety attacks at work and I heard sublingual hits faster so I might try that for when I need to. Especially since the generic 2mg tablets I have are orally disintegrating.

Will do. Also, update. 2 hours after redosing the 3mg kkonopin I definitely feel great and where I want to be benzo wise. Might consider taking the lunesta in a few minutes. Due to the risk of blacking out or oversedation I'm considering taking 2mg of lunesa which is a moderate dose.

I get scripted clonazepam and zopiclone and in my experience mixing both just results in the zopiclone overpowering the clonazepam anyway. Id just take the zopiclone or in your case eszopiclone. Taking both is a waste

I took 6mg clonazepam in a 5 hour span. 2 hours later I took 1mg lunesta and so far it working synergistically. Now having a mixed Drink or 1.5 shots.

Be very careful mixing alcohol and zopiclone. You dont realise your fucked up on that combo and you do dumb shit. It doeset take much either to cause a blackout
