Benzos Clonazepam and etizolam.which is best for pain?

I have very recently been i formed by my doctor that gives me opiates that clonazepam in particular would help my chronic pain brmetter than the opiates he prescribed me.morphin.zorromorph 10mg..im unsure about this.im just wondering if anyone has any pain management from any benzo.? Not necessarily clonazepam. Ignore the etizolam part that was a thought but not an actually reality.sorry if I mixed things up.

Personally, Clonazepam is my favorite benzo.

Now onto your question. I have experience with both. I would say Clonazepam over etizolam for pain due to Clonazepam having more muscle rexlant properties. Etiz may be slightly more euphoric and while it does relax your muscles; I would give the edge to Clonazepam in this use case.

Clonaz is good for nerve pain. Helps my trigeminal neuralgia

Clonazepam does make my arms and legs feel like jelly, so maybe that's the muscles relaxing. I use it sporadically for anxiety and insomnia, although I guess your stomach muscles relax too because I have insane munchies on it.

There is a reason people with IBS are prescribed Clonazepam; it's muscle relaxant properties.

Clonazepam has a longer halflife but I am VERY SKEPTICAL about this "Benzo for pain over morphine" -- Sounds like you about to get pulled off morhine, be back in pain plus a bit of rebound.....but you get some sleeping pills out of the deal??
I think the larger question to ask here is why a doctor would tell you that a benzo will help your pain more than opiates? (Guess its moot as whatever they say just flies -- but wtf?)

Everyone here said klonopin --- there is also a whole thread talking about how etizolam is the most euphoric benzo, as I mentioned over there though, short half life, kind of more-ish for a benzo. On the otherhand i DONT THINK it is a nitrobenzo which clonazepam is and I have JUST BEEN INFORMED leaves hepatoxic metabolites and has a higher link to dementia than non nitro-benzos --- idk im on clonazepam new info to me; but accurate.

Cool answer.i defo can take alot less etizolam than clonaz.it only last a certain time before the love runs dry with clonazepam and a break is needed.

Clonaz does work for nerve pain. Though not as good as morphine atleast imo or i wouldnt need the morphine in prescribed. Better then lyrica for me though

I won't get pulled of my morphine.as I was i a sar wreck and doctors give me just about anything.im still due to operations.so yeah I got tucked up badly.hence the ability to almost choose my medication script within reason of course.

okay I misinterpreted and thought you said they were going to switch your morphine for benzos and expect it to be okay and I was like TF!?? lol

Pick a flavor of benzo they all are pretty equal at equipotent doses --- some kick in fast and hard, some last a real long time. That is about the choice IMO. Ask for halcion if you think theyll give ya any benzo lol
