Hi,
I'm prescribed 20mg of clobazam per day for epilepsy and I noted it's almost the only 1,5-benzodiazepine. Board while off sick I went and looked at the patent (US 3836653). They give an example of a 10mg pill which was clobazam with a chlorine at the 2 position of the normally unsubstituted ring (5-(2'-Chlorophenyl)-7-chloro-1H-1,5-benzodiazepine-2,4-(3H,5H)-dione).
is there a reason why 1,5 benzodiazapines are so unexplored (or is it explored but I don't know about it being someone TRYING to learn... so look out in 10 years!).
