I’m coming off a. 3 month IV fent run.. 25 bags a day of the best shit in town…

Got Ativan gabapentin and I figured I’d throw a Clen and a testosterone shot to help my breathing and bounce back.

Thoughts?

I don't see it helping with the actual withdrawal but if you need it take it. It might make you more anxious too as it is a stimulant

Negative bro. I don't see how this would be helpful. You've got a lot of help in the Gabapentin (Neurontin) and Lorazepam (Ativan). My advice is to make your withdrawal a concerted effort. Don't make half-assed attempts at the process. I've seen a lot of people in similar situations to your own. They are needing/wanting to withdraw from Opioids and want to use these medications to do so.

What can happen, is the person does not fully commit to the process. They use Gabapentin and Benzodiazepines, relapse, try again in a cycle. This is a problem because both of these medications are limited in how long they can be used effectively. For a person in severe Opioid withdrawal, the amount of Gabapentin required to keep them straight often means they are pretty much saturated by day 7. Benzodiazepines, if you have not had a prior dependence, should only be used for 14 days at most. Using them for longer leads to a higher likeklihood of addiction/depdendence.

You don't want to end up in the same exact position with the only difference being you are now dependent upon Opioids, Benzodiazepines and Gabapentinoids. Seriously, I've known many people who have gotten stuck in this rut. These are some of the best tools we have to get a person through withdrawal. If you're going to use them, commit to a plan.

Well said. You’re right. I only have 4 mg of Ativan left. I am 25 hours off the dope and 1200 mg gabapentin with 4 mg Ativan and I feel absolutely fine.

Did take a Clen and I feel giddy and with energy. I really do want to break through this.

You’re right though because the benzos lower the inhibition and not being in a detox facility I can go get drugs at any time.

My dealer actually offered a $500 front to get me straight for the month. So it’s very hard to walk away from. I have to decide tomorrow if I continue to shoot dope.

I don’t mean to prod brother but tomorrow never comes…. I know it’s a lame thing to say but ive told myself that old lie ten million times…. I hope you get through it!

@OpiateKiller we've known each other a while. Neither one of us is going to turn down a $500 front when we're in the shit. Dealers don't offer fronts to be friendly. They offer fronts to people they feel they can get their money back from. That front is gonna be just another drop in the bucket

Geography doescn't cure problems, but it can be a key part of the process. If you have this kind of access it's going to be hard to break free.
