I think there were a whole bunch of things which weren't considered and or investigated in order to decide upon change in the above topic (events forum). I'm glad it wasn't rashly changed.

cant the limit be increased from 100 ?

I try to keep mine at about 95 messages. I dont get a huge amount of PMs, but i like to keep a lot of them for the factual info they contain, and for other reasons, like some have had words of encouragement or wisdom etc. I suppose i could copy and paste the whole lot into notepad/wordpad but what a fuckin boring ballache that would be.

just seen your note in the thread FG. Maybe i should try and keep my total around 90 to allow room for a sudden influx if im away for a while.

A lot of the time its the "sent" box which is chewing up your space. No need to keep those, particularly if your original message is also quoted in a conversation you have saved in your inbox.

Yeah...What I meant was 'that issue upset people more than we thought it would'. It was a can of worms disguised as a lonely forum.

Before the last software update the PM icon at the top of the screen actually told you how many messages were in your inbox and whether it was full or about to become full. You would have thought a forum of drug addicts would have realised this was perhaps a useful feature.
