^ sorry, i was actually aiming my post at Shamanz0r's post about no food and just water. Anyhow, being a dietetics student, i wouldnt recommend a juice fast either. If you desperately felt the need to fast then at the bear minimum i'd make it a fruit, vegetable and water "fast", i mean, juice is pretty much just fruit without the goodness of fibre and generally has added sugar and lacks in lots of the vitamins due to the processing. So you'd be better off eating the whole fruit or vegie. I'd only do that for a day at the most though... and only if you felt you HAD to! I think it would be much more benficial to just eat extrememly healthily, making sure you ingested foods from each food group and i'd minimise the refined sugars and high GI carbohydrates, wholegrains are your friend! I also wouldn't any kind of excess in protein, as it dehydrates you (you dont want that in a detox), causes and increase of nitrogen in the blood stream and also displaces calcium in the urine. So best bet, eat HEALTHY, keep fluids up, moderate exercise. As for supplements, i thin this varies from person to person, but as a generalised thing, multivitamin and fish oil tablet would probably benefit.
