Cleaning mouth before ingesting LSD?

I will soon be in possession of some weak acid, the sheet is unporferated and this one was cut slightly bigger than the dose I took before from the same batch (1 and 1/5- 1 and 1/3 bigger, not a big difference). I've only had acid once before (Same batch, as I said before) and it was a little weak (I'm 100% sure it was real, definatly not placebo. Amazing experience, lifechanging even though it wasn't too strong.)

Anyway, I wanna get the most out of this experience and I've been told before that thorougly cleaning out your mouth with mouthwash and everything like 10-15 minuites or so before dropping noticably increases the potency because it allows more LSD to absorb into your system or something. Does anybody know if this is true or just a myth? An other ways to increase the strength of a trip?
 
I'm not gonna smoke weed when I trip (Which will probably be today or tommorow) last time I smoked weed when tripping it took away the clarity that acid produced (Although it did intensify the trip a little). Actually, I changed my mind; I'm probably gonna smoke a real lot of weed on the comedown to bring the trip back.
 
like others have said, cleaning your mouth isn't necessary. it does help with absorption though. brushing your gums gets rid of the outer layer of dead cells, and mouthwash does more of the same, getting rid of any grime or whatever that's in your mouth. i think i've heard elsewhere that mouthwash with menthol does something to "open up" your oral membranes or something... but i can't find any confirmation through google searches. the feeling i get in my mouth after mouthwashing makes that sound about right though.
 
well if its blotter you should put it unda your tongue because thats the most psychoactive spot in your mouth. Brushing while only freshen your breath before the trip. And just 1 bowl of high grade comin up and down would be fine and create noticeable affects to your trip

LSD has a near 100% bioavailability when ingested, in the stomach. So besides it possibly kicking in a little faster, I can't think of any advantage to holding it in the mouth. I don't know if that's an accurate statement "the most psychoactive spot in your mouth". I didn't know my mouth was psychoactive. :)

Comparing the findings of Papac and Foltz with findings from a study using LSD injection (Aghajanian and Bing 1964) indicates that LSD is well absorbed with a bioavailability that may be around 70%.

70% with injected LSD. LSD is a fragile molecule, I imagine that it must be pretty prone to first-pass metabolism when swallowed.

I thought all drugs had BA of 100% if injected IV, I didnt know that varied....

But I agree, that I think most lsd would get destroyed rather than digested if you were to swallow it right away without sucking on the tabs for a while. I usually end up pulling a hit or 2 of spent paper out of my teeth the morning after the trip lol

No...I eat liquid all the time.... People don't hold liquid in their mouth...
