clean slate (a stream-of-consciousness poem).

why cry
at night
in light of the blaze
that wipes away
the maze of the world when your
perpetually enraged and calustrophic of the cage
and the tame dumb minds in your
surrounding boys and girls?

If they mean to wipe the slate clean
of corporate spondsors and levi jeans,
government structures and beligerent fuckers
in cars that fit them with expenmsive systems
that break windows as they pass by
and cost more than the cars they ride,

why loose sleep over it,
why?

could the change that's coming
bring a world any worse than the one
in which you curse for it's short-sightedness,
where any origional thinking is blasphemous,
where society is disasterous
to the mindless masses
who won't get off their asses,
ignore social classes,
and find the freedom
forever receeding
as their feeding
the powers that be
that are feeding nothing
but their thirst for control
amongst the bombs and bleeding
killing any true meaning
one could find in life
with a knife and
a granade?

just blow them away
blow it away
fuck you life
fuck your religions
fuck your governments
fuck the world
fuck everythign and everyone, okay?
your already dead
we're already dead
let's not postpone the inevitable
for one more day

I've been thinking a lot lately, when I look at the state of the world, that perhaps we'd be better off if someone just nuked us all and whoever's left over could start out afresh.
