Clarithromycin + 2C-E

Would ingesting 2C-E while on clarithromycin lead to any negative drug interactions?

I have become aware that clarithromycin acts on the enzyme CYP3A4, as does MDMA. As both 2C-E and MDMA are phenethylamines, this may mean they are metabolized similarly in the body. Does anyone have any knowledge of whether or not 2C-E is also metabolized by CYP3A4, and if so, what precautions a user of clarithromycin should take when using 2C-E (or not use it at all)?

most of the time when something is interacting with an enzyme which plays a role in breaking down a particular drug it only changes how much you will need/how long it will last. im not sure on specifics with this one but i would imagine you would be fine taking 2ce, just start with a smaller dose and expect to get high for 12 hours

Thanks for the response. Although, I just discovered that I have only 2 more doses of clarithromycin left to go, so I will just postpone the trip to avoid any hypochondriac-type anxiety.
