rawr!

So, I started taking Citalopram just two days ago, meaning I've had two doses, and I am already unable to ejaculate. I have quite good control usually over this, but I have attempted to 'bash one out' three times in the past three hours, and nothing, I cannot even get close.

I am unsure as to whether this is a good thing, or a bad. I guess when having sex, this would be great, as I do not have sex to ejaculate myself, instead for me it's all about pleasuring the lady as much as possible. However, I'm pretty sexually active with regards to most areas and thus, will I get frustrated over time? And if so, will this frustration make me even less likely to?

:)

I took citroplan for 6 months, same problem.

I have been off about 2 years, just getting back to normal.

If not being able to cum don't distress ya, nothing will.

Shit SSRI's - they don't tell you about that side effect either.

I took Celexa (same stuff) for 5 years, It can be frustrating but you can achieve orgasm, it takes more work and concentration. For me I would frequently have to finish myself off for the last bit after fucking (also because it can take so long the girl is done and sore before you're anywhere close).
Practice is key, figure out what turns you on the most. On the plus side, you're in for all sorts of long ass sweaty porn star sessions, and most likely your girl will think you're great.
I started getting laid on Celexa, None of the girls believed how inexperienced I was, but now that I'm off it, my few sexual experiences have been a disaster; due to having to work hard to orgasm for so long, now I have to work to hold off, That takes practice as well.

I completely understand what your saying, except that I can last a stupidly long time anyway (I've never had an orgasm before my girl during sex), so that aspect will not change.

Also, will an orgasm on Citalopram be better, because it will be less often?

Zooms, I don't know that the Citilopram has anything to do with it.....It usually takes 2 weeks or so for SSRI's to build up and start to even be active in your system....So, this may be stress induced or another issue...What recreational drugs have you been taking??

SSRI's are known for causing sexual dysfunction. they are also not very effective as antidepressants unless you have clinical depression yet doctors hand them out like candy to anyone feeling sadness. you do the math8)

the big issue with these drugs is not just lack of orgasm but that they kill any sex drive after a while.

ssri's for me had an effect the first day i took them. i was nauseous and had a high temperature/vomited so they can kick in quick

Ya, the doctors tend to not mention this but then again its a life-style issue and not a health issue thats necessarily a profound problem.

Any SSRI I have ever taken does the same thing. And its actually for this reason that if a guy goes to his doctor with a pre-mature ejaculation problem, he or she may recommend a low dose SSRI. The dose of Citalopram you're taking will always inhibit an orgasm and as far as I know its an issue of choice if the medication helps you enough for the problem of not having an orgasm. Try not to rip your penis off when masturbating. As far as frustration or distress, you may build up alot of residual testosterone or other forms of corticosteroids, which may pronounce somewhat of an edgy demeanor. Its really your choice between what you the drugs benefit is and the side-effects, just like any other drug, if its worth it.
