the ash tray is filled with half-smoked cigarettes
i try but feel no need to finish with you here
i smoke to wallow with the phantoms
yet you are real

sprawled out in a drunken heap
these cigarettes are making me sick

found a wee bit of vanilla vodka left
imagine that i actually did not consume the entire bottle
yet all is not lost
i've got a full pack of ciggies
and a soon to be full ashtray
oh yeah and i've got modest mouse
once i wallowed in my lack of anything real
now i wallow because i found it
fuck this world
it's back-asswards
flipped-ways
side-flopped
inside-around and turned-out
much like my head at the moment
i'd love to hear a voice right now
singing about plastic stars and shit
my cat is lonely
he's crying right now
long pitiful drawn out meows
he's got food and water
what is he missing?
wait is this really my cat i'm talking about?
enough of this silly babble
i need another cigarette.....
