Chroming??

most of the young chromers i have worked with (around 15 daily users) most of them have presented back at their units with paint all over their faces and hands, its a messy way to get waisted, however i think that if carefull you can avoid painting urself up and looking like your fresh from the "Braveheart" set.

chroming? oh my god, the lowest of lows. I used to live in Lockridge which is a suburb of outer Perth. It was known as being a suburb full of Abo's because it used to have the Nyungha (spelling) community camp located there. I would never in my entire life ever try chroming after some of the shit that I used to see chromers in Locko do. Chromers are just filthy, poor, smelly losers. I hold homeless herion addicts in higher regard.

The harm reduction advice is don't put the bag over your head, to reduce asphyxiation risks. Apparently, the propellant in aerosols can sensitise the heart to adrenalin, and there have been some cases of heart attacks while chroming.

^ Could you possibly give us any references for your assertions? Being "pretty sure" is sometimes ok, but it would be nice to look up some authoritative source and be "sure".

I can't find the reference to toluene as neurotoxic - I am casting my mind back to a presentation I attended run by Tony Palmer (works at YSAS) about 2 years ago.
As you can see from the link - the organisation is very pro-harm reduction and I trust their advice.
 
YSAS are a great organisation that do work very well in terms of a harm reduction. They have to as they work with a client base that doesnt have much to lose and have experimented enough to know that the zero-tolerance messages are a load of shit.

The YSAS workers that i have interacted with in my time in the field are all very good at what they do.
 
HMM well am i the only one who supports chroming? I think so..
well i can tell you its a cheap mind warping substance...and i know ppl who do it all the time and they are still alive......so anyways....

Also dude.. go get some pills or something.. The buzz is a fair bit better, and cleaner.
 
what the hell are you trying to achieve Zaineaol, stop paying other people out for their drug use, it is their choice. You sound just like the government trying to restrict peoples decisions to decide what they are to do to their own body. If you don't like a drug thats fine don't do it. I would hate to chrome myself but I do in fact accept that many people do it because they like the high or simply can't afford or access better ones.
Paying out people for smoking is also stupid, calling someone a moron because their addicted is just slack in my opion. I like keeping opinions about drugs to myself, if I don't like a drug then I won't do it. But I think you need to take a step back and stop making pointless threads flaming heroin users, smokers and chromers and realise that your posting in a drug forum.
People have different likes and dislikes get over yourself. I like the spiritual aspect of drugs, but I accept people who find drugs appealing because of their recreational value.
So please just shut up, and post whore in forums somewhere else. :p

(Sorry I made this pointless post, but it was starting to piss me off!)

They are a shitload cleaner in feeling to inhaling a can of dulux from a plastic bag to get high, u and i both know that!

Regardless of what anyone here believes, i am entitled to my own opinion, about anything - be smoking thru to herioin abuse, i just really don't like any drugs that carry with them a GREAT possibility of pyshical addiction - chroming would be one of them.

It's also extrememly dangerous, and I have witnessed first hand what it does to peoples brains. When some of your friends begin slurring and frothing at the mouth and shit, you too will understand.

I have one old friend, who came over to my house one day, saw the can of "export paint", said "Wicked, Spray paint!" grabbed the can, rumidged through my kitchen for a shopping bag, came in my room and started sniffing away! It's not an enjoyable thing to watch, it was very scary!

This particular guy then began telling people he loved them, and trying to kiss them. Among other things, he also has some head problems, and is very violent generally, due to the fact he has some bad paranoia, he tends to just hit you right out of the blue in the middle of a conversation, not only to me, but many of his friends! We didn't exclude him as a friend for it, when he was straight the next day we told him what he did, and he said sorry.

So in regards to what you have to say about my opinions, it's your choice to keep yours to yourself, not mine!

I am just advising against chroming in this particular case, if you want to have the best part of a brain left in a few years, stop whilst your ahead, don't follow the pack, break away

Doing drugs in general is dangerous. Its pretty obvious to even the most uninformed user of any drug.

Ive also seen people freak out on pills as well. By your fuzzy logic, we shouldnt be doing them either.

Look, drugs are a mind altering substance so people 'freaking out' is obviously a danger no matter what substance your using.

in regards to your comments that you entitled to your own opinion. Yes you are. but not here. This forum is to deal with facts and off topic flaming is bad form :p

Indeed it is, people do freak out on pills, i've witnessed that, but the long term side-effects (from my observations) make you look a lot less like a vegetable, and a useless wanker... thats my point... of the people ive seen freak on pills, all of them were fine within 2 days, the ones i've seen on spraypaint - they just look fucked in general, its not even a result of freaking out!
 
Zaineaol, yeah I understand exactly what your saying and I do agree that most inhalents are seedy seedy drugs. Its more the other posts that pissed me off, when you pay out something you haven't even tried. Yeah but I take what I said back I was just a bit agitated at the time and a bit annoyed by your other posts.
 
I have tried inhalents, i did it when i was younger, and i do reserve the right to have a go about them, because i did some STUPID shit at school inhaling flyspray - and have never done it since.

I DO however, do amyl/butyl nitrites - I quite enjoy these, and it's just not so so messy.. as said quite some time ago, Most Amyl's are available from sex shops under the counter, get some of those.

Zaineaol: You REALY need to chill out an think a bit more before you post. You know people will see the 1000 or 2000 post you have made in a year or so they wont be thinking "Coool, hes realy into helping people learn FACTS" They will be thinking about all the un mitigated attacks you have made on various peoples drug use over the year or so you have been a part of this forum. Chill out and try to see things from other peoples perspective please. I agree your entitled to your own but unless you can back it up with scientific PROOF, DO KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!!
Oh and please where exactly did you get the idea that inhaling "delux" was physicaly addictive?
