christmas night

its the night
after all of the lights were lit
for christmas
its just me and you
sitting in our own little room
and i choose to swim
instead of walk
my eyes roll back
and i have a silly grin on my face
typing grows ever so hard
on my hands
and i'm just sitting here
solitary
alone
in my room
in my own little world
all for me
and i try to get up
but i make funny faces
at the taste that i'm tasting
at the feeling that i'm not really feeling
get up?
not today...

its time for sleep...
