Christmas lights

They may be pretty, but when you live next door to a house that's bright enough to be seen from space, it must get a little annoying...

How long can I rationalize the holidays and leave them up and ON?
Chinese New Year Feb 14th?

What is the cut off where I start looking lazy?
 
^ There's a house down the road from me which has christmas lights attached 365 days a year!

Thank god they don't turn them on each night...
 
this is my house from 2 years ago...i dont do it anymore at the moment cus im divorced now and im living in a apartment, but hopefully by next year ill have a house again and will be able to get back into it again.

this is alot of work...each song takes about 40 or so hours of programming and i usually started setting up all the lights right after Halloween. alot of money invested too!

I love to go drive around and look at lights, it's a tradition. I enjoy the energy OTHER people spend dressing their houses all up for Christmas!!
 
There are people around here that put up thousands of lights each year but they do a great display.
 
i used to put up lights, but not this year. as i'm having Xmas w/ my family at a casino. so no need to go all out. might put some up on the fence though. and maybe bring out the plastic snowman and wreath.
 
how do u change a fucking fuse in a string of christmas tree lights, im not going to google it, im tired of googling everything.
 
^ by the plug there should be a slide cover that opens up. and some fuses should be in there. just replace them w/ the corrrect size fuses.
