Chocolate mushrooms

So I have only tried dry mushrooms i guess that's what you call it. Usually ate an eight, but now I'm being offered a chocolate mushroom, which is like a dome of chocolate decent size I'd say half dollar or bit bigger diameter. I was told from a friend that it had him tripping nicely (he claims to be experienced, both mushrooms and chocolate). My question is, is there a way to gauge potency in comparisons of mushrooms the plant form and the chocolate way indescribed, or is it just about who you know?
 
you can't get an accurate judgment unless you know the person that made the chocolate. that's the inherent flaw in buying chocolates, and unfortunately this is often also the ploy behind their sales. one can make more by selling chocolates for 20 bucks which have only a gram or two. i think the more 'legit' reason for making chocolates for distribution is a function for mushroom shake.

generally if you can get whole mushrooms that's the way to go. you can melt some chocolate chips yourself if you really want chocolates lol. i did that once, and i put em into a pot leaf ice cube tray...lol mushroom pot leaf chocolates, highly novel :D
 
Theres no way to tell. Depends on how much the person who made it put in... Not to mention what strain it was, grow conditions.. ect ect.

They are pretty good tho. I say go for it.
