chippers, how the hell do you do it?

if you have a problem with heroin, do you really think you have the will power to load up a syringe and not hit a vien?

just imagine the blood swirling, mixing with the dope once you register. that thought alone will make any fiend dream about hitting a vien with a big fat shot loaded with dope

i thought chipping was slang for IM drug use. so whatever i said doesnt make much sense...on well. i doubt any dope fiend could shoot IM after IV'ing, unless they jsut happened to miss their shot
 
I'm fiending too now, I call that initial vein hit the "orchid" since that blood looks kinda like a flower when it initially jumps into the barrel. I think Burroughs said that originally, but I assimilated it think to myself when I hit "we have an orchid, ahhhhhh yeah"
 
never could chip. the only things I can chip are hallucinogens. Any addictive drug I can get my hands on I do. And thats that.
 
Always been a chipper pretty much. Money and availablity being the two main reasons. If I had a steady income and access to benzos and/or opiates I'd convert though.

Yep, that's exactly how it was for me for years till I met a guy through a guy who was a dealer and would deliver right to your door. And this guy was amazingly reliable, like no other dealer I have ever met or heard of. He would give me samples of the new stuff whenever it came it to test the quality, he would always come to me, wherever i was and whenever I wanted. When he went on vacation or out of town, he would have another guy run the service for him. That and having a steady job with good pay put the hooks in me like hellraiser. Now I only wish I could forget his number somehow, erase it from my mind...
 
It's money and availability for me. That and I didn't enjoy the two experiences I've had with it (although I'll probably IV when I get some more and that might make things interesting). I'd rather have oxy though but it's pretty pricey. In fact the only reason I tried heroin was because it was cheaper than oxy.
 
With opiates, if I was getting high everyday I would have to watch my money drain, and considering that I'm not exactly totally responsible when I'm high I'd eventually probably slip up too much at work and things would just start getting shitty. Being a fuckup is motivation enough to not use everyday. Knowing that I get the most (purest) enjoyment out of life when I'm sober is also reason to be clean.
 
It is quite easy for me to chip. I don't have a dealer anymore, and when I can get H, I can only get enough for a couple of days. Then I wait about another week for more to come around.

It is impossible to get addicted to Heroin under these conditions..
