I picked up twice in chicago so far, each at a different spot with different bags but they both tasted the same when smoked. Kind of creamy. Where I used to live it had an almost meaty taste and from what I've had so far it was stronger. What is the cut that makes it taste that way and does anyone know the average purity of the d here?
 
Most dope is cut with diphenhydramine, and I believe the last reports said the purity hovered around 30-40% on average. There is dope that I would think is closer to 50-60% though.


Not sure if this is obvious, but Chicago heroin is #4, so you are adding caffeine to it right?
 
#3 is smoking heroin. It contains not only heroin but also caffeine. #4 heroin is not smokeable on it's own. You need to add caffeine to it to make it #3.

Strychnine or quinine is often added to #3 as well to give it "flavor".

Its very hard to judge average purity because it changes so much block to block.
 
That is because you need to do some chemist kind of stuff to smoke it and since the poster didn't know you need to add caffeine, that would explain why s/he didn't get any effects.
 
Sniffed some too and it burned like hell. I think its a purity issue. My old bags were wax paper, usually blue or white and a third the size of what I've seen here and sold near a needle exchange so I don't think it was #3 junk. I hadn't used in two months and my pupils barely pinned.
 
I've never heard of #3 being sold in Chicago. 99.9% sure it was #4. It very well may have been a purity issue, but that doesn't change the fact that you need to add caffeine to it if you want to smoke it.
 
is anyone getting anything out there right now that's worth the risk? Last time I got good shit is was just plain foils and they weren't that much of a euphoric high, but much more of a heavy sedating one. Was decent though.

I'm itchin for it bad. I miss the day when my call up guy had actual real dope. Not some 90% dormin bullshit with 20 pink flakes in there.
 
I heard theres some really fire ass raw around very high purity like 95% or better but unfortnatly it's very expensive.

red tape boys have some good shit.. i just picked up some raw from them but my buddy scooped a jabb of foils and he was nodding pretty good. I just got home and he was sleep driving i had to wake him up 4 times.
 
these tape foils are way fire, like half a bag had me really itchy and nodding out everywhere i stand or sit. full bag and im beligerant running around like a crack head sweating and nodding and itching lol. ahhhhh
 
You've got me supa confused. I've never heard of needing to do anything involving caffeine and your dope to smoke it. From my standpoint, if I can't get high from smoking my stuff unadulterated from the bag and it hurts like hell to sniff then, either your dope is cut to nothing or a large city on the east coast doesn't have anyone that bangs it. I thought that you can smoke any powder.

adding caffiene lowers the msoking point of dope. thus making it less likely for you to just burn all your shit up to quickly.
 
what i would do to have my tolerance at 1 bag and be noddin off..


and was it someone in here that mentioned checkin out the show the wire? i checked my ondemand and seen season one is up there. i watched the first 6 episodes so far and its a pretty good show..boring kinda well maybe not boring but slow moving, but im diggin it..how many seasons is there?
 
i believe there are 5 seasons..ive only watched first couple though its definitely slow near the beginning, in the first couple episodes that junkie passes off that fake bill i thought they were gonna murder him for real. im not a huge fan its a decent show though.
