I havnt gotten anything besides mdma and mda tabs in over the last 2 years. You just need to know the right people its like that with any drug.
 
at this point, I'm no longer physically hooked on dope, so I don't HAVE to do it just to function, but I'm very much mentally obsessed with it. I am the definition of a chipper now, probably do it once or twice a week tops, not everyday like I used to. I like it better now, because I can function without having to steal/lie/cheat to get bag, but it still remains that the best break from reality that my mind and body will ever know is a shot of heroin... and that will most likely never change.

ouch, those are some sad stats. i'm glad to see you're using a testing kit and saving yourself some rough experiences at least! are your hookups getting you pressed pills or molly? i know for a fact there is good molly in chicago right now, so maybe it would help to hunt that out specifically instead of bothering with pressed stuff. i'm not sure what scenes you normally hang out in, but the molly is in both capsules and grams in hippie/counterculture groups currently. it might be time to make some new friends :)

No doubt, I didn't have any problems at all when I was living downtown SF, but the Chicago burbs seem to be filled with scam artists. Y'all are right, I just have to hit the clubs in the Windy City. I only like to use it once or twice a year, so it isn't a huge deal, but I do miss the good 'ol days...just a bit. Goodnight all, be safe...

Re: @lterEgo...always crappy pressed pills that I really didn't even need to test, as judging by outward appearences, they were made in some shitty basement. I'd kill for pure molly in powder form, never tried it, but I've had some excellent presses in the past. Thanks for the tip regarding the hippie/counter-culter...probably a bit more trust-worthy than some of the "dealers" that have approached me recently at the big dance events/raves.

yeah, i guess when you put it like that i do kind of understand why you asked me again what my question was.. but basically what you're saying is that you really did understand what i was asking the whole time, and you just thought that it was such a stupid/immature/newbish question that you had to point out the fact to me, or rub my face in it?

after hearing you put it the way you did, it does make more sense to me that what i was describing is something not very likely to happen. i agree, after thinking about it you're right, the police probably would never put that much time and effort into busting someone just trying to buy a few bags, after they've got the dealer.

but i did say at the beginning of my post that i was looking for advice from people who are more experienced in the chicago game than i am. that's why i was asking the question in the first place. because i don't know very much about the chicago game, and what may have seemed so obvious to you, wasn't quite so apparent to me.

so thank you for finally explaining it to me and helping me understand, but i do hope you know that i wish you could have done it in a nicer way. it did seem to me like you were kind of coming at me with at attitude for no reason, and it bothered me a little bit.. i'm not gonna cry about it, i just want to let you know that sometimes the things you say may hurt peoples feelings. granted, even i agree that some of the people responding on this post probably deserve a little flame here or there, but some people are honestly seeking answers to questions they need help with, and could perhaps be met with a little more compassion. is this not a harm reduction site?
 
My old connect has some crazy shit going on with his phones. You call one of his phones at the same time as someone else and the call will forward to another phone and someone else will answer and take care of you.

MOST TIMES when someone else answers your dealers phone, that guy picked up where he left off... and will serve you.

I don't think 6 months would be considered a binge.. I sorta think the limit on the definition of "binge" would be about a week. 6 months on the other hand I think would qualify as a bender.
 
an observation

It seems that this past month has brought some pretty significant changes to the dope game on the west side. I can't speak for the whole west side this is only talking about the little square mile or so of the part I frequent. It seems that there is a heroin drought. I've pretty much never have had a problem scoring in the hood. What I mean is that 95% of the time I drove there I did not come back empty handed. This is over the past 10 years and hundreds of trips. Sometime after Christmas the area changed. It used to be that I went there at any time of the night and I was able to score, its best before 9pm but anytime really I’d find something. Now especially after 9pm I might spend an hour driving around before I finally find a spot. In addition to that the 5-6 spots that I usually frequent that have good dope now have straight up garbage, my 5 or so junkie friends agree with me and have noticed the same thing.

So I’m wondering if anyone else here has noticed the same thing. I'm talking about the area where they have the "best" bags and around there. What the fuck is going on. The west side was always hopping, but now it's almost embarrassing to how hard it is to find an open spot, even harder to find a good open spot. It's become so bad it’s almost not right to call it an open air market anymore. Now I know mid winter is there slowest time for business but this is ridiculous.

About 2-3 years ago there was a huge record setting bust of cocaine. I remember that before the bust the average rock would give you 3-4 hits and was of good quality. After the bust the sizes dropped to 2-3 hits and a higher percentage of the rocks were cooked up using a lot of baking soda to where instead of melting into resin the rocks would burn to ash. Basically that bust had a very noticeable effect on the size and quality of the rocks. It stayed that way for at least a year, but in this past year I gotta say the rock quality and quantity has definitely improved. It's not back to its pre-bust levels, but I think that’s just because the dealers got used to selling the lower quality and size rocks so they don't want to make them better, not because they can't do that so that’s not bad. I'm thinking maybe there has been a similar bust with heroin recently and it's affected the dope quality. Shit I’ve been to spots in the past week that have always at the minimum been at least decent which were this week straight up garbage. Like the best bags. They were always decent, you could always count on their shit giving you an ok rush, but this past week I’ve had shit from them that was terrible. It was only good for maybe getting rid of your sickness and that’s all. The red tape spot in the area for some reason changed their cut and now if you try to cook it up it cooks up all white and foamy or some shit an is very hard to draw up into the rig without it clogging. It's only good for snorting really. I have no idea why they would change the cut like that; they might not know that the new cut is basically unshootable.


Has anyone else here noticed or made similar observations recently. My group of junkie friends and all the junkies I run into on the bus going to the spot or at the spot agree with me on this situation so I wanna see what you guys think. Also I’m wondering if it’s different in other parts of the west side. I only shop in this part because it has the best dope, but I’m now thinking of heading further west to the foil in red tape area and seeing what’s going on there. That red tape foil spot is it still up. I used to shop there and around there for a long time until I found out that the dope is much better deeper in the west side. Now it seems to me that most of the people that shop in the area around the red tape foils are from outside the city or aren't total hardcore junkies because most of the people I run into in my part of the hood are straight up junkies that have had habits for years and have no jobs or are homeless, basically completely in the throes of addiction, where in the red tape foil area its more so people with much less experience. The real junkies know where the good stuff is so that’s where they shop. I actually think there might be one area that’s even better than where I go. Further south in the [edit] area which is the worst part of the ghetto probably has the best dope too, better than [edit] neighbourhood where I go or [edit] neighbourhood where red tape foils are. I've been in [edit] before and it’s fucked up there. Plenty of abandoned houses and seems way more dangerous. Anywhere else in the ghetto I have no problem walking around at 1am that I’m gonna be fucked with, but for some reason I’d be scared to do that in [edit]. I remember a spot I once went to there where you had to go up to this armoured door which had a little slot in it where you'd put your money and you get you dope thru. There was always a line at these places so they where easier to find and tell how good they are by the size of the line.

I know I’m rambling but I got one additional comment. Back in the 90's when I started going out west at first all the spots had it to where you had to park and jump out of the car to get served. No one served you in your car. Then a few spots started doing that and they got a lot of business because no one wants to get out of the car especially the huge influx of suburban teens that happened at that time due to the significant increase in the potency and purity of the dope that allowed it to be snorted instead of shot. So after that almost all the spots converted to where they served you in your car. Also before they put in all those flashing blue cameras there was a lot of spots that where located at major intersections, now they are all on the side streets. Also back then if they said they were 24hrs they really were 24hrs and there was a lot of 24hr spots. Now it's pretty rare to find a 24hr spot. That’s sad. Oh the good old days.

There is one thing that’s better now than then and it’s a major thing. Back then the cops didn't mess with the dealers instead they focused on the buyers and would be a lot more aggressive pulling over white boys in the hood and when they did they’d be complete assholes to you and really fuck with you. Now it’s a lot different they don't really care about the buyers they are focusing on the dealers. For example I never get fucked with I take the bus down there and I’m on foot or bike. Even at like 1am there has been countless times where cops would drive right by looking right at me and not stop. The same isn't true for drivers, they seem to focus on pulling over people that are driving, and maybe they wanna impound the car. They don't bother to stop people on foot, waste of time to mess with a junkie that’s walking because you know he ain't got money and if they do find any drugs it won't be much. Whenever I’ve been stop in a car they pretty much just wanna know where I copped and how the dealers look or where they hide their stash. There have even been time where they didn't bother to even search me and this is after they watched me go up to the dealers and get served. When that happened I thought I was losing my mind. They say me get served at the red tape spot, I had an extra $7 on me I told them I didn't buy anything that I went up to the dealer with $7 trying to get served for that amount but they wouldn't do it and the cops where like OK and didn't search me when I was holding 6 blows that I didn't have a chance to "put away" I you know my drift.

Well it wasn't a "proper" speedball as the coke was a rock cooked down with vitamin C so it can be shot. A "ghetto" speedball if you will. Shooting coke makes me very nauseous which is weird as opiates never make me puke or nauseous, is this common with IV coke, don't have mcuh experince there.

I gotta say, busting the dealer stops the flow of impoundment eligible cars into the neighborhood. I don't know if the CPD are still as obsessed with highjacking cars and ransoming them back to the owners at $1300 a pop, but I'm sure that milking that cash cow was their major motivation a few years back. Maybe they got all the camera's they need, or some savvy judge put the kibosh on the ordinances that let them get away with that shit. Anyway, it's easier to bust users, milk them for cash, and use the numbers to justify federal funds, than busting the high level supplier's and shutting down the game.
 
oh yeah talking about that website withe the police scanner, my friend has an iphone app thats a chicago police scanner and you can choose which district you wanna hear so thats awesome for trips to the spot, district 11 or 15 when you driving there.
 
This has happened a couple of times...anyone ever get some D that cooks up just fine, filters just fine, but then as soon as the liquid in the rig starts to cool, it starts to solidify? It obviously has something to do with the cut and its good solubility in hot water, but poor solubility in cool water. Anyone know what the cut is? or how to remedy the problem? It is starting to become annoying.

I don't think they can shut down the game. The boys ain't never got d on them when the task force rolls up, shuts down the gangways and tries searching everybody. Also they can spot UCs from a mile away I ain't never got asked if I was the 50 but shit I'm bumpin' when I roll up, Power 92 with a couple 12s in the back, black n mild and purp smoke pourin out.

ok...does any1 else notice outside the ratio of crack spots to d spots is like 4:1 if not bigger???
 
heroin is soluble in room temp water there is no need to heat you shots and i think this may be a chicago thing cause i hear people on the eastcoast really don't do it. I know for a fact that dormin does not fully dissolve into the shot untill it is heated so you can actually just not heat the shot and there may or may not be a small amount of residue on the bottom of the spoon after you filter it through your cotton or whatever and this will be your cut. Not really necessary to shoot this

adding heat is one of the main problems right here. by doing so you are just dissolving whatever cut is in there and once it cools its this cut your are wondering about clogging ya rigg. no heat dude
