Back in the saddle again

I'm an experienced old fart gettin' back on the bicycle after many years of not riding. I'm here to learn about staying safe in the Chicago area. I like this forum and happy to be a member of this community. I don't want to live forever but want to enjoy life a bit more before its time to kiss my ass goodbye. I'm sending much respect to you chinky. Peace-stay safe everyone.

I've read several articles where Mexican and Colombian farmers have said they are growing seeds from Amsterdam or Cali. It's not necessarily the source as much as how it's processed and transported. The cartels toss 500lbs into a garbage/cardboard/whatever press and sqeeze that shit till its 2ftx2ft. All the trichomes are crushed and fall off, resulting in shitty brick weed. The farmers know what's good and obviously they want to have a plant with very strong genetics such as growth/finish speed, color, height, weight and strength. They're not just planting the same ol shit weed they did 20 years ago even if after transport that's what it seems like.

Also, been reading breaking news every day for years now and shits getting CRAZY. Just for the mods who closed the Chicago Heroin thread, take a look at this ;)

not all brick weed is shit I got some onetime pressed into an octagon shape that was fire. But then the next batch was full of seeds and nobody wanted it. It came from the supplier. It's really back and forth as far as quality. Seems like the fire pressed dope was always around in the fall probably to compete with the fresh local crop. In winter it would turn to shit, all the homegrown was gone so it was an easier sell. Unless you had the money to spend on the indoor bud u where stuck with shitweed.
 
You think when all that heroin is seized that the cartel or whoever supplies it ships more so that they can get their shit back on the street or do you think that kinda bust actually hurts their inventory? It's always painful to see that amount of heroin seized...:(

oh btw they just had a pretty big coke bust here in indianapolis, i guess they did a "random" stop on a semi and the guy was acting "suspicious" but once they pulled everything out they showed the cops taking pictures of it like right after they pulled it out...is that because they don't trust each other...god knows if i would have been apart of that heroin bust i'd definitely snatch a few kilos...
 
cook county has everything from open dorms in division 2 to a super max which division 10...and cook county jail has everything from herion to weed, i mean what do you expect when ex gangbangers are the COs...i know in division 10 a nickel bag of weed goes for 50bucks

but yeah you gotta put the murderers somewhere and its not gonna be an in open dorm so they gotta have a max division, they got a couple actually but what is fucked upo is when you gotta go to court they dont seperate the max people from the low risk people...i was sitting in the bullpen waiting for my case to get called in court one day and i had about 5 blakc dudes and 1 mexican dude and we got talkin ...all 5 black dudes sittin there fighting murder cases, attempt murder cases and strong armed robbery..i was like damn im in here for some poessission of weed and im sittin here with these dudes who got bodys on them...but they where cool as hell and funny which was kind of scary, i mean the states attorney is offering you 15 at 50% and you turn it down cause you think you can beat it cause you know the witness aint gonna show up and your crackin jokes like its nothing, that was kinda scary....they were young too with the oldest not being more then 30 but the youngest was 17 and they where crakin jokes havin a good time talkin about what they gonna eat for dinner when they get back

i wasnt scared they where murderers cause shit they used a gun and i know for a fact i would have beat anyone of there asses but when your 19 and facing 25years and the prosecutor offers you 15 at 50% and your laughing about that..fuck they got some problems in the head

A lot of the dudes who are so confident and think they know everything and nothing will happen to them end up getting fucked because they're just ignorant and arrogant motherfuckers. I noticed that shit during the bond portion of my stay there. All of em were like YO I BEEN HERE LIKE 20 TIMES I KNOW IMMA GET AN IBOND THIS AINT SHIT.
 
yeah but the one dude who was 19 turned down 15years at 50% which is 7 1/2 years not too bad when your facing 25

Yeah, Cook county cops definitely focus on h/yay/rock, but the suburb cops (I grew up in lake county) are fucking vicious towards everything, but they are always on the hunt for weed and e and other psychs. Coke and dope don't really penetrate the north suburbs all that much, and most of the kids who get caught with it had to go into the city to get it. Back when I sold rolls and blow four years ago, my buddy and I would drive from libertyville all the way to south Elgin to score, but the product we got was the best in the city (pure MDMA rolls and coke that was never stepped on more than once), but we were the only supplier of coke for the entire town for a solid four months (how we never got caught by the cops, I'll never know). Sure, you could have gone over to Waukegan or north Chicago for blow, but that shit was straight baking soda.

Lately, though, everyone has been cracking down on heroin. It's just everywhere, cheap, and everyone wants a taste. This latest seizure doesn't surprise me in the least, and definitely explains the drop in quality this past week.
 
I heard about this, Rockford has been having tons of busts as well... it very well may be linked up with the Chicago busts. I think we had four people shot over July 4th weekend. If Rockford was the size of Chicago it would have TRIPLE the crime rate :(

Suburban cops are a pain in the ass, I never understood why so many suburb kids freaked out about them but as I aged I understood why.

im getting searched regardless just cause my background..when you been arrested 5 times for weed they tend to think theres some on you at all times..which normally there is but recently ive been kinda takin only a blunt or 2 worth
