Chi Town mints

i doubt it. every time theres a drought of mints people always suspect the dude gets busted give it some time and the mints will be back around
 
"word on the street" is the mintman retired, but i've already heard of multiple new presses that will be out very soon, i mean if he got popped, someone would know. i do believe he was taking a break though after those green dots. from what i heard anyway.
 
Well I just got back from a party in the city this weekend and it's most definitely dry. More people were selling bunk shit than I've ever seen at a Chicago party and it was nuts but at least some people were smart and knew if it's not a mint, don't buy it. Got sum molly tho ;-D
 
I wouldn't worry too much...it may be awhile before shit starts flowing good again but that's just cause of all the heat lately. They've tried on many more than one occasion to try and nail the mint man, but the people in the mint organization seem to be quite intelligent in the way they do business, when shit gets hot, they lay low for awhile and they know when it's "safe" to start flowing again. It seems to be a tightly knit organization with the higher-ups being smart people, they know what to do when the shit starts hitting the fan in order to protect the identity of the god of ecstasy in Chicago. I highly doubt the identities of the big guys are well known enough for the LEOs to be able to get that close to the presser...it does seem like the busts are bigger and more widespread each time they do a sweep, but I still would be surprised if they managed to shut the system down...If anything there will be plenty of new batches of fire coming once they determine the heat has lessened enough to be safe to start flowing again...I hope so at least...the green dots do give me some reservations about things, maybe there is some trouble finding the right ingredients right now, cuz those dots are a fucking joke, they shouldnt even be called a mint, they are nothing but a disgrace to the game and to the mint name. Worst pills to come out since the original green and red equals, and even those equals had some really fire ones in the batches, just that the majority of them were completely bunk...These dots seem like all of them are consistently terrible...hope the summer brings good things to the Chi...

One thing I can say though is that I will be done rolling if the mints disappear for good :-/

exactly, mints were nowhere at events this past weekend. there was some great molly around though. i only heard of shitty pills, didnt see any thank god
 
god i miss chicago

last time i was in chicago was for resonate 6 at the smartbar.. wow that was a BLAST. all i saw were mints and K. stocked up on K and tried out a red "a" mint. kinda mild if you ask me.. only heard the best things about the green equals. was expecting more.. but, goes to show why i only really invest in molly ;) anyone go to that after party? holy shit! i couldnt stop dancin.. cant wait to get back up there and groooooove!

A mint, or mints, idk whether it's just one of them or more than one, but at least one mint is confirmed to have PCP in it. Yes that's right PC-fucking P...

How do I know this? Well I don't want to go into too many details since the story involves a good friend of mine. Well here it is, his landlord came in to his place one day and found some drugs out in the open, phoned police who came and arrested my friend and searched the place confiscating his personals collection of mints and a couple other drugs as well...the only ones I know for sure he has were the most recent blue Ys, I know he had others but he doesn't even remember what they all were. All I know is his trial was getting postponed until they could get the lab results back on the substances he got arrested with. As far as what was in the pills he had (which were all mints, not old ones, he's only been collecting them since probably middle of last year), he is getting charged with possesion of MDA, MDMA, and PCP...among the other couple substances he had at his house.

So there you have it, I swear I am not bullshitting, nor is he. This really doesn't seem like it could be some bullshit the cops were making up either, it's all going down in court, I suppose they could have crafted up evidence but with how accurate the rest of the assessment of his goods was, it really doesn't seem like it's bullshit.

I'm sure you're all as shocked as I was when I heard it, PCP is an EXTREMELY uncommon adulterant in pills, just look at edata. But this ain't no BS, you all know that I'm (La lechuga on PR) not a bullshitter, I wouldn't be saying this if I didn't feel extremely confident in doing so. I'm sure it's not a widespread thing, if anything it's probably only been in a couple different mints at most, but I will say there have been a couple mints that I always wondered wtf the deal was with them, so I suppose this could be a possible answer.

My best guess is he had some of the white bowling balls that came in around Christmas time of this past year, cause I blacked out for a whole day after taking one of those, amongst other pills that night, but it was def after the bball that this happened to me, if I had to guess which had it, that would at least be one them on my list.

So yeah, fucked up eh?...Those that wish to believe it, by all means, I understand why there would be those that don't...but at the same time I've built up enough of a rep on PR to where I should hope people would know I'm not BS-ing, nor have I ever been about anything I've posted...

So yeah just some food for thought for the Chi-city rollers, Be safe people, we all know the vast majority of mints are squeaky clean, but obviously not all of them, and I'm sure it would be quite a miserable time if somebody ended up taking several of these ones that contain it, so just be safe, don't go overboard. This still does nothing to change my opinion of mints, I know they're awesome, but just know that you can't trust every single one just because it's a mint.
 
i know you wouldn't make something like that up but i just find it hard to believe that there is PCP in mints not saying that your lying, im just saying i think the cops are bullshitting you.

Well believe what you want, so many people in Chicago are just like you and are too thick headed to be able accept something that could be construed as criticism against our beloved mints, thinking they are the be all, end all of pills. And I wouldn't have posted this if it were something coming from the cops, the cops aren't bullshitting anything, these are criminal charges going against my friend, brought up in court after lab analysis of the drugs he was arrested with....he was initally just charged with possesion of ecstasy, but after the results came back, they upped the charges.

And I'm not saying PCP is in all mints, but it is in at least 1 kind that he had...I don't know which one/ones...but we know the mint man likes his dissasociatives in pills...PCP does not automatically mean that somebody is gonna strip naked and start getting all violent and shit, I'm sure the dosage was not very high in this situation, otherwise it would be obvious....but who's to say it can't add some nice effects to a roll given the right dosage....and we def all know the mint man is good at his dosing of substances in pills to make great combos...and you can't deny that there have been some mints that made you wonder what was different about them, like they were still good but something was strange.

Either way, take it or leave it, believe what you want...This isn't a case of the cops making shit up, the state would probably not be trying to prosecute somebody on a drug possesion charge if they didn't have evidence to back it up...I'm just giving people the heads up, cause I know the mentality of Chicago rollers, and that is that mints are perfect...so just be safe people, mints are amazing, but that doesn't mean there will never be one here or there that could really do some messed up shit if somebody went overboard with it.
 
i was talking to a friend of mine and he told me your friend probably got charged with PCP because mints contain ketamine and K can come up as a false positive for PCP. You can type it in on google and see what i mean.
 
What I'm saying, and apparently not clearly enough, is that this was not field tests we're talking about, this was done by a lab...He got arrested, charged with ecstasy, as well as some coke, and paraphernaila and stuff...His drugs were sent off to a lab, to be tested with equipment that can discern what the substances are...And the reason I know this is because they quantified the pure cocaine, said it was 3.3g pure, even though there was actually about 7.2g of powder...On the spot, cops don't have stuff to properly test anything with that kind of accuracy...That's why they send the stuff to a lab to be tested, so they can be positive of what they're dealing with, since they are the ones that bear the reponsibility of providing proof for the charges they make, they aren't going to charge somebody with pcp when it's really K, they are gonna have a lab with good enough equipment to properly discern what substance they are working with...

Yes, K could show up as PCP in a drug test, but not in this situation....They aren't going to risk losing a case over some shotty evidence...
