Just wondering if anyone else out there enjoyed the occasional chew of some nice coca leaf? This would be a good harm reduction from regular cocaine use except for the taste being less than great. It's also good in a wine infusion still not the best taste but it works a treat, say 100g to 750ml red wine (messy to).

Dont want to burst ur bubble but u are going to need to chew an awful lot of coca leaves for u to feel even the slightest buzz. Its prob a good idea just to take it for what it provides and not expect a cocaine buzz as u will be disappointed.

Bullshit sustanon. Perhaps if you are talking about breaking open a low yield coca leaf tea bag but you only need a handful of fresh leaves (and a spoonful of bicarb) to get quite a nice buzz. It takes a bit of work to chew into a cud but once you do it provides hours of effects.

I tried some nice coca vodka at a recent doof. It looked and tasted like dirty dish water but withn 10minutes of a couple of deep swigs my mouth and throat were numb and I was gibbering like an idiot.

Yeah I'm talking about fresh leaves or quality tea bags (most contain 5mg+ of alkaloid) and coca wine or coca vodka taste bad but do provide a nice effect although short lived. Gave a mate who used to do 3g+ a day some coca wine and he loved it even if it was a bit short duration (he downed a 750 ml 100g infusion of the stuff in 5 minutes and was buzzing for about 30mins). If you get dusty old tea bags that have no smell then you need 1kg to extract a pitiful amount of coke, but thats synthesis, even if it's the most basic grade 10 chemistry (how do you think the farmers in south america can produce cocain base!) Also If I have good quality tea bags I use them to hold the chopped coca + bi-carb. Have been chewing for a few years now and you can get fresh leaves in OZ. Novoandinas have nice fresh 100% organic coca leaf. All leaf for chewing is sun dried in the Andess so if you think people over there are chewing fresh green leaves you are mistaken, not meaning to be rude but coca leaf is a way of life for people in the Andess.

I really enjoyed chewing coca whilst in South America. It really doesn't take that many leaves, although it does give a different feeling than straight up coke.

I've used it while overseas and really like the effect. Not really 'buzzy' at the doses I had, but clear headed and calm without any of the unpleasant effects of coke. Very mild compared to coke IME, but I'm sure you could do heaps and maybe it'd be comparable.

Haven't tried any of the wines.

I'd much rather chew coca leaf for my ADD tendencies than use the stimulant medications. It seemed to work better in every way. Much nicer than a cup of coffee also, with none of the anxiety I get from caffeine...I'd probably compare it in intensity to caffeine actually (although way better ;))

^ The wine they sell here in Australia is bullshit. They use leaves that have had the cocaine removed, if I remember correctly, and then just add guarana so that non-drug users think they are getting fucked up on coke. Whilst the rest of us know that cocaine does not go very well with oral dosing.

I dont buy the stuff I make the wine myself from 100g+ of coca leaf and a bottle of red. You can buy flavoured coca wine and liquor but they dont have any alkaloid content ie they taste crap and do nothing. The decocainized coca leaf is not really decocainized to any great extent and most are just shredded in a wood chipper onto a tarp collected and shoved through a second processor from there it's into tea bags and on the shelf. Delisse is one of the most popular coca teas in Peru, Ecuador, Chile etc so the product must have some merit and it claims to be decocainized unlike inka tea which claims 100% alkaloids and smells much better than delisse.

This thread was started about harm reduction. There was a program in the US in the 80's using coca tea to ween crackheads of crack until the DEA stepped in. I probably should have elaborated a bit more but anyhow. The tea is sold legally because they claim less than 0.2 % cocaine content which is in line with the 1961 international convention on narcotics. (cocaine not other alkaloids LOL) These tea's actually contain around 0.5% which is average for dried coca leaf. I cant remember exactly where I found this info, something about a woman failing a drug test and blaming the coca tea. Another report was the quantity of benzocaine found in jockeys urine who claimed to have drunk coca tea and failed their pee test due to the alkaloid content of the evil tea! I'm sure google has the answer LOL. These tea's are technically illegal but still get into OZ. I'm not saying coca tea or leaf is like cocaine but if you make a Vin Mariani and drink it down quick you will get a noticabely numb mouth and a cocaine like effect. It's not like smoking some basuco or snorting a fatty line but it is quite enjoyable, despite crappy taste.
