Destruction blasted into sight
Blinding eyes who’ve never seen light

The sky fills with orange hatred.
A sonic boom not even the deaf couldn’t hear.
The fungus above us blurs our images
While biological death blows in the wind.
Blue light flashes
While the earth crumbles beneath our feet.
Concentrated energy floods between our thoughts
Ripping apart bone and muscle, chemical atrophy.

(These secrets were never known to us betwixt the cloud and gravel.)

Incumbent people lie down as if commanded.
Skin melts from crumbling skulls.

(Even Einstein couldn’t have imagined this.)

This pomp failure will carry
All our lives to a distasteful mausoleum.

it is the imagery that stands out for me ,, making it smoother and easy to picture this in my head this metaphor of damation great stuff yes,, i have to say one of your best in my book too
