Probably mephedrone or methylone. But to some degree I think MDMA is one of kind. As others have said there just isn't anything as beautiful as good ole MDMA (if you haven't lost the magic or w/e).

^Love isn't a chemical, its a chemical response. Oxytocin would be a better chemical for the closest effects to love. Of course it also has to do with serotonin, but the loving everything comes from oxytocin.
Methylone, it lacks some of the empathy but everything feels really nice, maybe it doesn't act on oxytocin... The tactile response is still very much there, but its not as lovey... Its a hedonistic one, but its on a similar level.
Feels a little lighter than MDMA, like a few cups of coffee worth of energy and lots of warm and happy.
2c-b has some rollish qualities for most people, but its a little visual. Most of the people who have tried 2c-b loved it. Doses 20mg and under are generally accepted as one that most could go to a museum and look at art without turning any heads. It feels ok to be around people, social interaction is easy, its bright and colorful. Its a favorite.

meph and mda are close for me. methylone just doesnt give me much euphoria.

Definitely methylone. There's also MDA & MDE but you're talking easily-obtainable I guess. Mephedrone's a straight stimulant, no entactogenic edges.
I don't understand this weird MDMA snobbery. It doesn't do anything particularly unique or special that anything else on the entactogen-psychedelic spectrum doesn't either; have you never tried methylone or AMT? Or any full-blown psychedelic for that matter? I think it's because often it's the first 'magical' compound people try; some kind of nostalgia trip. Come on though, there's loads of stuff that's just as good.
