Hello all. I'm writing a paper on drugs that affect serotonin. Hope to get some chemistry advice. Or get pointed in the right direction.
My main focus is on the false dichotomy of "legal drugs=good" "illegal drugs=bad," Especially all the hype left over from the 60s and 70s about LSD. My hypothesis is that SSRI antidepressants are more dangerous than LSD, and that there is a double standard that exists for portraying the dangers of legal vs. illegal drugs: for instance, dangers of marijuana and LSD are exaggerated, while dangers of legal psychotropics minimized (adverse events during drug trials are suppressed and expert drug testimonials are ghost written).
BTW--Looking to see M.J. decriminalized in WA and Colorado tomorrow.
