Me personally, I guess my tastes is just different, all these suggestions just sounds beat as hell, go to a bed and breakfast in vermont? *bleaahhh* cabins? alot of the suggestions is just some super cutesy shit,like "quaint"...Would anybody want to go see historical shit in philly, nooo...Well, i mean me when i say anybody lol, sorry.
I aint tryna be a dick, and i definatly aint puttin down nobody who postin in this thread, dont get me wrong I aint sayin the POSTERS is lame. Just that I dont know wat kind of guy and girl this is goin on this trip, but I know that I would be bored as fuck goin to most any of these suggestions so far.....Thats just me tho, and once again it aint about the drugs---I dont even do no drugs no more, I am clean and I still think of plenty of shit to have fun with, I WOULD cosign on the NYC recommendation tho.
For real, why would you go to some bumfuck little place when you can go chill in the City. There is EVERYTHING YOU COULD WANT , ALL RIGHT THERE....Unless you want somethin lame and shitty, in that case you will be SOL, but i doubt you want that.
You could stay in a motel outside of NY in jersey so its cheaper then drive like 10 minutes into new york, go anywher you can imagine, if you like all that history crap there is plenty of it there, thers museums, not my style so much (depending on the museum) but still fun for tourists and out of towners....Theres parks, places to eat, i mean you could just take a trip to chinatown and enjoy seein something that is so different than the shit you prolly used to.
I think for the ppl like me and you altek who been near the city our whole lifes its like we forget how amazing it is to ppl who never been there. We just like yea, watever, street smart kids used to havin all this at our finger tips but these kids is like blown away when they go to the city for the first time. Just walkin thru chinatown for them would prolly be like a amazing experience just all the sights and sounds and smells, you know?
The village, check out the freaks n punk rockers n shit....Go to the comic book stores, the record stores, the thrift shops....go uptown for some good ass shoppin(OK nevermind prolly these kids wouldnt do too good in harlem, my bad lol I forget sometimes) but my point is just about anything you could think of you can find in the city. You could go to the brooklyn botanical garden, they got a Japanese zen garden type of setup there thats all made up to be like one of them oriental gardens with the landscaping and bridges and little bonzai trees and shit. All kind of cool shit. Why do somethin typical like ocean city or some gay ass bed and breakfast in yuppie-hippie vermont? Go to where its at, hitup the city and take a tour of jersey for when you need to cop some of that good piff for your spring break blunts. :D
