Heroin Chasing the dragon

I know theres threads about the basics of chasing the dragon but i wanted to share some of the things ive learned over my career and figured you guys would have something to add. as far as methods go i began by trying the toilet paper roll with tinfoil taped to it from heroinhelper but DO NOT DO THIS. it collects smoke but doesnt allow you to move it around and will ultimately burn it way too fast. second i tried making a V out of tinfoil and running it back and forth. this method is better than the first and possibly as good as the third but if there is any cracks in the foil it is extremely hard to get it to run. Also since this method uses a smaller piece of tin foil it heats up quickly even if the end is folded. Lastly and my current method is to use a large rectangle of foil and put the chuck at the top. I smooth the foil with a card before putting anything on it. this works wonders for once you try and get the beetle to run.(dont forget to burn the chemicals off of the smooth side before anything). once you find the distance of the flame to the foil and the angle to hold the foil you will be able to make much better runs. Another important tip is to keep the lighter moving. a lot of people know to lead the beetle because of the angle of the foil but you also have to move it back n forth so you are not burning and inhaling tinfoil.

Secondly the tooter used is an important roll into advanced your smoking method. The 45 degree angle made out of foil is the best imo and can be found how to made if you search some other threads. if you plan on using the same one to smoke the rez you have to burn the smooth side of the tooter too. These are just some of my opinions on the subject and am curious to see what you guys have to add.

for the record I am on the East coast and am smoking powder. i believe the best way for tar is to use the heated paper clip method.

ps. i have never tried vaping out of a lightbulb but i hear bad things about it and can imagine that it would have similar issues as the toilet paper roll

The best thing though is to use a foil toot to smoke through as when your gear has all been smoked you can then open up yr toot and smoke the residue that it collected.

Using a glass pipe like a crack pipe collects more heroin and you can actually burn down the residue in the toot after you have finished on to another piece of foil. You will be amazed at how much more residue you will be left with if you use glass.

I like the idea of a straight pipe as a toot, the only problem with it is the weight/sound/fragile nature. My personal fave was a bic pen tube that's fully open on both sides, the business end had a foil protector to avoid melting plastic (think like a foil cap but it has a hole in the middle and the rest of the foil is pushed into the tube) after regular usage you could get a metal rod of what not and grind tons of rez out (which comes in handy at those dire situations) or cut it open and scrape it all out.

However for the foil itself I found the best method possible isn't a V but is actually a U, it allows it to flow waaay easier instead of getting caught in the crease. Not only a U but almost like a little foil boat (gear around is usually chunky and those chunks can fly off the foil before you start). To make this boat you just get your rectangle of foil, hold it kinda like a rolling paper, but have your index finger on top of the foil and your middle finger and thumb underneath, push up from underneath (your index finger makes the U shape) and then just use your thumbs to wrap the foil around and voila!

i use the same u. i agree its better than the v. tht was my motivation to making this thread. i think the crease slows down the beetle.

As its VERY difficult to get H of a quality that smokes well[unless you do what i did and live in Thailand for a few years], i have found, that even with 93%[analysed,unfortunately] i prefer to put a little pile on top of a cone of good weed. Snowcones have your head dropping on to the table regularly,lol. I find that good weed and good H make the greatest downer[dreamstate] going I always mix them! Some people like to play with the gear as it runs along the foil, ime just interested in getting wasted...efficently

Agreed. smoking weed always tops me off but i hardly put it on top bc i think it burns too much instead of vaporizing it. Ima try it and report how efficient it is.

If you cover the inside of the tooter with foil it gets coated in residue (i.e. cardboard/paper with alo foil wrapped around the inside), we used to do this when we chased the dragon
