I kno this has beenn asked a million times but my question is a lil diff.

Ok so its tar, foil, and a straw i dont have a prob catching all the smoke.

My question is am i being to ginger on heating it.

I will usually put a point on the foil and very lightly heat the foil below and to the side a lil i make a valley sorta with the foil the tar will go straight and help me catch all the smoke.

It doesnt produce much smoke but it is melting and running down the foil. leaves a nice golden brown trail behind with very few dark spots which i go back over once the ball has run its course.

Still tho it doesnt produce much smoke i guess which is a good thing or is it? unless i run the lighter directly under the foil which im scared to do. i get nice rips off the trails left behind.

i get high and catch all the vapor that is released but there isnt much smoke wise. i can taste it when im chasing even when there is very little smoke.

if im not doing it super correct id love to hear from you guys. i hate wasting shit.

I dont bang even tho i got a pile of rigs im too scared to take the plunge. scared i wont prep it right.
 
First, prepping a rig is easy. So if you decide to, make sure you are using clean rigs and if you can, sterile saline (most Dr offices hospitals have them in big syringes, in plastic wrapping) However! I don't recommend switching to that. If you get high from smoking, don't ruin that. I have been shooting off and on for 5years and I could never get high from doing out any other way now. :(

With that said, if it's not producing much smoke, put the flame under the foil, directly under the black. Just be sure not to get it too close or it can just burn most of it up. But honestly, if you're getting decent hits from it with the method you're using, my guess is you're just fine to keep doing it that way.
 
kk thanks guys. Yea i usually just have a few dope holidays a year. primarily on suboxone never worked the courage up to rig it. if it was powder i might but tar grosses me the fuck out. I really want to but i'd prolly mess it up or my veins up.
 
i would avoid injecting, it will kill H for you in any other matter and slowly start killing your veins until you cant enjoy the drug anymore. Respect H, id stick with what your doing now

Yeah don't get into IV'ing. That'll just bring you a host of problems and put you on the fast track to totally destroying your life.

As for smoking, you really don't want it to produce a huge amount of smoke. That's a sign you're heating it too much and you're wasting a lot like that.

Heat it very gently, don't keep the flame too close to the foil (and also make sure to burn off the chemicals on the aluminum foil before you smoke it).
 
If you're leaving black 'burn' marks on the underside of foil from the lighter, you have the flame too close to the foil.

You shouldn't blacken/burn the bottom side of your foil at all.

You essentially was to use the aboslute, LEAST amount of heat possible required to get the vapors into your lunges (which aint much--) :D
