Los Angeles police raided the Sherman Oaks, Calif., home of actor Charlie Sheen on Thursday night.

The fired "Two and a Half Men" actor tweeted "#fastball: all good here on homefront. all reports are false. I'll explain more very soon. #Dogspeed c"

Sources told TMZ the LAPD was conducting an investigation into criminal activity — possibly drugs or weapons — and that the raid was "preplanned."

And someone reportedly inside the house told TMZ police may be attempting to take Sheen into custody on an involuntary psychiatric hold.

TMZ also said a source inside the house told it Sheen allegedly violated a temporary restraining order obtained by ex-wife Brooke Mueller that prohibits him from possessing weapons.

I'm sure his "loved ones" have called in anonymous tips that there are drugs there, trying to get him incarcerated or institutionalized.
 
Why does everyone have to gang up whenever some unfortunate actor/actress's drug use is put out in the open? All it ever does is propel the train to speeds where a wreck becomes inevitable.

I mean, who here if they had Charlie Sheen's money wouldn't find enjoyment from using excess amounts of drugs and partying with porn stars? Sounds pretty good to me, I'd switch places with him right now if I could.

no part of that article mentioned drugs at his house. he is CLEARLY not right in the head aside from any drug use.

I don't think he's unstable. I think he's a badass dude with money that likes to party.

I kinda see where he's coming from but the news is so ant-drug anti-freedom neocon bullshit. We are too busy worried about what's going on in Charlie sheen's life while gas is at $3.50 a gallon again, expected to rise, and the massive 'situation' in the middle east goes on.

Agree with this. And yeah, he's loaded and likes to party, like lots of other people in Hollywood. He's just hyping up the media sensation with it because he's either bored, high, crazy, or both, but they shouldn't be messing with him, if you ask me.

It's all one big distraction, let the guy party.
 
If you're famous and you flaunt your drug use without any suffering any repercussions, there will be many people who attack you for political purposes. They don't want the public to see anybody enjoying drug use. Heaven forbid people might see that it's not as harmful as they want you to believe.

you know why he says, in his interviews, that the listeners have no idea what's going on?

because you guys don't. he's not mentally unstable, it's an act. why? why else, money.
 
it's not an "act". he's just always been this way. people seem to think the real man is something like the wall street character he portrayed. but he's not. he's always been an outrageous party boy all his life. you're just seeing him now without any acting.
 
If you made as much money as he did, you'd probably be just as "wild"

I can't even imagine making $1 million an episode. Half would probably be spent on drugs for me my friends (strippers) lol

He seems perfectly sane to me, he hasn't harmed anyone or done anything that would would reasonably indicate he is capable of violence.

We dont call it a mid life crisis anymore just like we don't call PTSD "shell shock" or "battle fatigue". It's too dramatic. Charlie is just going through some life changes like we all do. And he doesn't party very often now compared to his early days. But when he does, he can afford to do it up the way we'd all love to do it! =D
