Changa First Time

AFAIK, damiana has no MAOI properties, I just use it as a carrier to make DMT more convenient to smoke. I'm interested to know how the changa you smoke is made, though- do you know what MAOI they use?

And then infused into damiana? Fair enough, it just seems like a lot of hassle to me to do it that way.

More hassle than smoking caapi leaf? Maybe. I've never tried to procure caapi leaves (as opposed to the vine) but I'd imagine it's harder than getting hold of rue seeds. You've also got the higher concentrations of beta carbolines in rue seeds, which may be a factor. Especially for those wanting to sell it as '1:1 changa' or whatever.

Though don't quote me, I'm a humble car thief.

Sorry to de-rail, but what's damiana like? I was considering switching to it rather than using tobacco as a mixer in a spliff/joint, it's a lot cheaper, healthier and has it's own supposed sedating effect (although I don't really care for that as I doubt I'll feel it).

If you want to breakthrough, have at least 3 or more cones, each one obviously you need to hold it in for as long as you can...

It's not as good as crystal obviously, doesn't last as long... But it's still an experience ;D

Enjoy ;D

Just to let you know, you're meant to smoke DMT in a pipe or bong rather than in a cone. That way, it'll take 1-2 pipes rather than 3 big joints. It's possible that's why you think the crystal is better, the crystal would melt in then burn I suspect from previous experience so that may make it feel more potent.

The changa should be better though, so long as you maintain the same dose of DMT in the changa as you would crystal you're likely to have a stronger trip. DMT on it's own is hassle to smoke correctly, especially with the hour tolerance wait between each time.

Jaydrog, as said smoke a good 50-60mg of DMT (whatever that works out as in your changa ratio) through either a bong or pipe. It may be hard to toke, especially because the DMT will be kicking in before you have most likely finished, but keep hoofing (or you'll end up with poor effects). I advise you to just go for 50mg your first time and see if you breakthrough, or if not have an intense experience, I didn't and it led to me having to work up to this dose for fear of being overwhelmed rather than just going for it and having a blast. I find sometimes lower doses of DMT are less fun, especially since you can feel your brain 'reacting' and it only appears to be like intense LSD visuals.

Yeah i just wasnt sure about the direct flame touching it but thats ok yeah ?
cheers man

If it's changa it'll be alright with direct flame. :) DMT on it's own is different as you would basically make a sandwich of Ash/DMT/Ash or substitute ash for tobacco/weed/damiana.

The vendor that I get my bar from also sells caapi leaves (although is out of stock), and I've seen photos of brown changa that looks like it might be made with caapi vines. I'd not really thought about it. Anyway, I was just surpised that people went to those lengths. As a side note- I understood "1:1" to mean the changa was 50% DMT (that's what I do anyway, equal parts spice and damiana). If someone sold me changa (not that that would ever happen ;)), and said it was 1:1, and it was less than half DMT, I'd be sour. Do you know what proportion of the changa you get is DMT?

Special_K, damiana is really quite pungent and aromatic in its own right. It's nice for changa or synthenic cannabinoid blends, but I wouldn't want to smoke it in a joint, it would definitely overpower the weed. It's also quite dry and burns quite harsh, which is fine for a toke on a changa pipe, but is a bit much for a whole joint. I've not smoked it, but from what I hear mullein is quite nice as a filler for joints. I think that "cone" means "bong" in this situation, but I might be wrong.

The stuff I currently buy is supposedly 50% DMT. The guy's quite proud of his work and isn't a 'dealer' type, so I'm inclined to think he's telling the truth. Well, as inclined as I'll ever be to trust somebody, which ain't that much.

I've read that using caapi is better, though this was mostly gleaned from the kind of website frequented by hippies in search of an 'authentic ayahuasca exeperience' so I'm not totally convinced. After trying to swallow ayahuasca I don't think I could even look at a caapi vine again.

I like mullein smoke very much. Makes you feel almost cleansed afterwards.

"Authentic ayahuasca experience" sounds pretty terrible to me. Forcing down pints of foul tea to get an unknown dose of DMT and a lot of dirty beta-carbolines into your system. No thanks, I'll take the crystal spice and the moclo, ta. I can't imagine that caapi is very different to rue, let alone better, but that's probably because I'm a rational skeptic who isn't in tune with Gaia's kundalini energy or some such bullshit.

That's exactly the way I see it. Still, who are we to argue with trustafarian would-be-Amazonian bushmen?
