Chance to try LSD for the first time - Could I?

Alright, so a couple hours ago my friend called me up and told me that he could get some LSD. We would leave our city right after I get off work at 6:00PM and plan on tripping at 7-8:00PM.

The problem is, I have work the following day at 1:00PM. I've never tried LSD nor do I have the time to do the research I normally do on drug before I take them, so I'm asking my fellow BL'ers to help me out on this one.

I know the trip (hopefully) will be over by then, but what about the after-effects? Comedown?

Any help is appreciated =)
 
It is doable, however once it wears off you will crash and want to sleep. If it is really good shit you might still be tripping when you're supposed to be at work. I don't use LSD anymore but when I did I always made sure I didn't have to do shit the next day so I could sleep. If you want to do it that bad call in sick to work? Have fun and be safe.
 
It should definately be over by then. I can usually sleep 8 hours after taking acid, but a lot of people can't sleep for longer. You might be worn out the next day, partly from not sleeping well. The effects of LSD should be gone by then, though.
 
If you undergo any realisations about life you may not feel like working the next day...
 
Expect to feel very hyper-sensitive to reality the next day. The acute effects will be over, but you will still be in a very psychedelic state of mind. Don't expect to feel great about having to put aside your cosmic pondering to go do work.

Its best to have the next day to digest the experience, because trust me there's plenty there to digest. :D

It sounds like a bad idea man; especially for a first time. The fact that you know you have to go to work the next day puts a dent in your set&setting. It would majorly suck to have to go to work while your still glowing.

Save it for a time when you have the entire next day to do whatever the heck you want on your own terms.
 
It's nice too chill out the next day and blaze tree's. It's different than the normal weed buzz you can still feel the LSD.
 
Haha if you feel like it, the next day you can always just quit your job. :D

Come in to work all scattered and frizzy-headed with dime-size pupils and throw pennies out of your pockets like "here's your damn money back, mannnn......I'm living off the earth now!" and then immediately run back out the door and down the block full speed, shedding your flip-flops as you go. =D
 
I can only chime in with those who say that it's doable, but not really ideal. You will only get some 3-4 hours of sleep, which might be fine, but also might not be too nice - although one usually feels renewed in every way after a trip, especially if you do it seldom or have never done it before. Also, as Roger says there will likely be some stuff to think about. Depending on your kind of job you might be able to handle this during worktime.

Take care and trip well if you choose to!

I wouldn't take the chance since you have work the next day. You have no idea how you'll react and how you'll feel the next day. If it's possible to get the LSD and save it for a better day, when you have plenty of time the next day to crash and recoup, that might be better. I know that every person reacts differently, but I have tried to do the "If I take it at this time, and it kicks in at this time, it should last about this time and I can still fulfill all of my obligations tomorrow" and it did not always work out for the best.

When I used to trip, I always enjoyed things more when I knew I didn't have any important things that I had to do that day or the next. If you're concerned about missing work or performing poorly the next day, I would hold off on dosing; that fact alone swimming around in the back of your head might cause some of the trip to get annoying or make it go bad.

LSD is a beautiful thing. Just make sure you take it in a place where you are very comfortable, don't drive, and enjoy the experience :)
