I have this one vein on my left arm, right where the arm curls up. Can't remember the name lol...

Anyways if i simply put the needle in the skin to try and poke through its hurts soo fucking much. I cant really even get under the skin. Like, if i poke even a little bit and the needle goes under the skin, that's when that sharp pain occurs.
Although the right hand, thats is fine. I can get a vein. Although its the only vein i use rally because my other arm is fucked. So sometimes im forced to "find" a vein.

At first i thought it was just the bruising that was making it hurt but it's been a long time since iv injected there yet it still hurts like a bitch when i only slightly get under the skin of the area. Im worried something is up.

Any ideas? If you need to me to be more descriptive just let me know and i'll say what has to be said.

hi there, one thing to consider would be to carefully wipe down the end of the syringe tip before attempting to inject. I have noticed that when there is a drop or two or for that matter any liquid present in the needle of the syringe as it goes into your skin it will sting as it goes through the tissue of your arm. Also, have a look into the HR Injections mega thread to make sure you're shooting into the right vein. You may have not chosen the best vein to shoot into even though it may be the most pronounced looking vein on your arm. To my knowledge there are only two veins in the arm worth shooting into.

I don't want you to take this as a flame, but that is nonsense. The arm has all the best veins to shoot into, and once you learn how to properly find a vein, register and plunge, you'll find it just as easy to hit the veins in yourr wrist, and the ones running along the side of your arm, as the basilic or cphailic veins.

always make sure the hole is facing up, for some rason that makes a big difference for me.

buy a ten pack set and practice with water. try different gauge sizes. for the arms, most people seem to like larger gauges, 27-29.

Anyway, ho0e I dont sound preachy, I keep nodding while I'm writing this, just did a two bag shot ;-}, and the dope is pretty good.

^^Yea, the arm does have a lot of good veins in it.

To the OP, I would suggest not hitting there for a while, it could be scar tissue, or bruising, but regardless you should give it a long rest. I've hit places before and fucked them up for weeks, so it's best to just switch around and let it heal up.

Znegative is correct, there are plenty of viable veins in your arms.

There is a possibility the OP is hitting a nerve every time (or most times) that they have recently attempted to inject into the vein the are referring to.

not to take away from the thread.....but a side question......

is it possible i just hit a nerve? i got a rush so i know i didnt miss it all, and no bump, just swelling that was gone after 15 or 20 minutes......

i have assumed i missed some, i pulled to much blood into the syringe to stop halfway.....
