his repugnance burns auburn radiance
and you'd never guess it by his size
but as cerberus silently stalks the gate
(he doesn't seem to hunch and lurch)
he somehow gracefully glides
with execration you can see in his embered eyes

all six see everything and nothing escapes

not an angel in flight or a snake with wings
not a wall street broker with all the earthly things
not a man, woman or child can evade his hate
do not forget where you are
for this malignant spirit is congruent with satans' rage

he assiduously guards the gate
an archfiend monomaniac
day after day, night after night
cerberus silently stalks the way through, and back

This is a great piece. And as always it delivers something different........ I guess that's why I love it. Props

dude, i couldn't even say what i thought about this, i wouldn't know where to start, just know that your poetry exceeds the norm....

There's a skill in being able to write with eloquent language (to steal a phrase), but not have it come across like a massive wank.

This had a mythic feel to it which matches the subject matter nicely. And I kind of got creeped out with the all six see everything and nothing escapes line, which is a good thing... :)

I will be frankly honest, i would have to have a dictionary next to me or a thearus to write this one out. Outstanding work

as always :)
